I Tried an UNDERWATER Photoshoot!

You know how I love #photography, well… In this video I DIVE into underwater photography for the first time! My dancer friend Lily modeled for me in my swimming pool, and we tried a whole UNDERWATER PHOTOSHOOT with dance moves and #acro poses! We even had her dress up as a #mermaid! Taking pictures underwater is A LOT harder than it looks!

Lily is so talented, she really could have been on Dance Moms. She’s been in #dance her whole life, is such a great ballerina and gymnast, and has also been a cheerleader. Even more… she’s my best friend! We also decided to challenge Jordan Matter to an underwater photo shoot, so if you see this… be sure to challenge him on his channel or Instagram!
So, Lily and I decided to try 3 different looks in this #underwaterphotography video. The first is a simple black leotard, and I really wanted her to show off some of her dancer poses! We started with this pose because it was the least complicated look, which made it easier to establish an underwater photography workflow. It takes a while to get used to shooting underwater! After Lily and I got into the groove we moved on to our second look, the dresses!
So for our second segment, we tried two different dresses with props to see what they would look like UNDERWATER! It was A LOT more challenging working with clothes and props underwater rather than just having a leotard! I think we got some great pictures though!
Our final look, the look you’ve all been waiting for, is our MERMAID LOOK! We’ve had this mermaid tail for awhile, and the top is actually Brooklyn’s from her latest swimsuit video on the BrooklynAndBailey channel! This was a super fun video to shoot, HOWEVER, I recommend that you don’t try this at home without a strong swimmer present, a safety setup, adult supervision AND the right waterproof equipment!

I love how you have clean content that is actually enjoyable and witty, there are too many teens that get caught up with the media and do terrible things. You however haven't changed for the media, you openly share about your faith (you're a Christian...me too!) and you aren't afraid to not please today's generation by not cursing or uploading inappropriate content! And yes I am a Mormon, I’m not offended, if I was easily offended I wouldn’t come to the KZread comments section lol To clarify, we don’t believe in different heavens but different kingdoms within heaven. It’s not based on how many people you convert, but basically on whether or not you followed the commandments while on earth. And she's already famous so clients/money won't be a problem. Photography is kind of hard to break into just because SO many people have a small photography business it's a gambke if you're gonna be the one someone picks when only looked at like 2 options. She really is amazing at it.

I think it’s a salt water pool so you can open your eyes without the cloreen irratating your eyes It isn’t as salty as the sea and doesn’t hurt your eyes 😌

Having an underwater photoshoot is one of my dreams! So I've seen a lot of underwater shoots, and why does your first try look a lot cooler than pictures of some professionals? Honestly, it's so good!
