Sometimes when videos are either all drugstore or all high-end, it leaves me wondering whether drugstore versions are good “for the price” or actually better/worse than high-end options. I love using the saie product on top my foundation as a liquid highlight. It’s so glowy when I use it as a primer or mix in but get so many compliments when I use it as a true highlighter!

Elf is my favorite! I refuse to pay and of CTs prices honestly. I fell in love with shade fair 1 when it originally dropped, but fell even deeper in love when they expanded the shade range (because yay, a company that actually listens to its consumers!) and got shade fair 0.5! It's beautiful mixed with foundation and wears so, so well! Thanks for this; I now feel very validated in my choice and don't feel the need to look for something better. :)

Would love to see regular primers for the summer that mattify all the sweat and glowyness :)

Really enjoyed this showdown! I was a little surprised about how the Dior product performed for you. I have the Dior, along with Elf, Loreal, and Saie; the Dior is my favorite of the bunch. I have mature skin (59) and the Dior gives a soft blurring radiance that just seems a bit more refined than the others. It's now my go to when i want a little more glow. Keep the showdowns coming!

Same! I love the Dior one and their Glow Veil too (it’s sheer and color-less). I was super surprised she didn’t like it too much, I thought the Saie and Dior looked so stunning on her!

@@nayeliguzman172 yeah we know that lol but that’s why we mentioned the Dior one. The one I specifically mentioned would be great for oily skin. So would the one the original commenter mentioned. And for any primer, you apply them after sunscreen. But wait for your spf to dry down for a while before applying any type of primer :)

I tried the ogx miracle coconut oil and my hair already looks better! I let it sit on the ends overnight and then showered in the morning, it already looks way less damaged.

I have been so interested in trying this type of product but since I am SOOO oily I’ve been scared of any type of extra glow. Thank you!

I LOVE the L’Oréal Lumi Glotion so much! I hope they never discontinue it. I’ve never experienced the “beads”. It’s not super glowy on me and I use it alone or under makeup. I don’t use a lot…maybe a pea sized amount. It’s beautiful and affordable. For reference I use the shade Fair, I’m 55 with dry aging skin. I’ve never tried any of the other products you mentioned though so I’m biased. Thx Abbey ❤

Thanks for sharing your experience! I just bought the Glotion in fair last week because it was on sale, but haven’t tried it yet. I also have dry skin. I’ll definitely try using it the way you do!

I’d love to see a series with face creams under $25 show down, $25-60 show down and a 60 and up show down for face moisturizers.

My favorite bases before makeup are primer (bobbi brown face base is my fav) followed by a mixture of Loreal Lumi glotion in light and Charlotte Tilbury’s unisex glow. Always get compliments!

That sounds like a lovely primer combination! I have all of these products (except my glotion is in shade fair), and I’ll try out your trick! I do find the CTilbury unisex glow is underrated. Another underrated product (similar to CT Unisex Glow) that I sometimes use as a primer or mix with lotion or skin tint/foundation on light (natural faced/no-makeup makeup) days, or as a natural bronzer, is the “Clinique Sun-kissed Face Gelee Complexion Multitasker Bronzer”-its great because it doesn’t look like you’re wearing product.

Wow. I’m sure this was a lot of work, and I was excited to watch this! Thank you! I’m new to your videos and I really enjoy your communication style and how informative you are. I just got the elf one finally and their shades are all off for me, but it blends so nicely, I’m impressed. I also love the inn beauty in bronze and Saie in both colors. Maybe I just didn’t give Charlotte Tilbury enough of a chance, but it didn’t blow me away. Drunk Elephant also was meh for me. I know I’ve used L’Oréal like 10 years ago (that product has been around a long time) and I liked it but I want to try it again! My recent discovery and fav is from K beauty by Heimish. I got their artless glow base. It is a primer with SPF and truly is an excellent glowy primer for my oily skin. It just makes the skin look radiant without any shimmer and does a great job helping my makeup last! It has a nice finish as well. It’s thin and dries down for smooth application. Check it out for whoever is reading! Very affordable too

I cant believe you didnt include the ciate london glowy primer with vitmain c, its epic. It literally gives you glass skin and not that fake highlighter glow which I hate. I have tried ao many but this is the one! Its skincare and primer in 1 and its hydrating but not overly hydrating....its perfect and gives such a beautiful glow literally like your skin is glass❤ and no sparkles in it!

Yayyyy I’m so happy you did this! I’m a tad obsessed with Glowy Primers, I have, um, way too many. Been eyeing the Kosas one as I’ve been looooooving some of their products lately. Def glad I didn’t end up picking it up! 🤍

I only have the Charlotte Tilbury one out of all of these, I haven't used it much since I bought it but this video has inspired me and I intend to give it another try :) As a side note, I am obsessed with your lip looks in all of these, both the red lips in the overall video and the various colours of red/pink/mauve/etc. in the test videos. Most of the lip looks I am referring to seem to be matte lip stains or lip tints which are my favourite kind of lip products and since I have a similar colouring to you I would so want to know what you are wearing :)

Really helpful video 🎉 Would have been great to see you include revlon skinlights illuminator, I feel like it's the OG before Charlotte. Also would have been super helpful if you had shared the test conditions wear time length, typical local humidity, your skin type as well as advising if there was a control powder, and setting spray. I wish Auric’s GlowLust had been included in this showdown! Either way, this was a great helpful video, and I always n wondered which of these glowy products were best.

How would you incorporate this into your skin care? Do you apply before or after sunscreen? I'm probably better off using a glowy sunscreen like the supergroup glow screen during the day for the dewy look, then using a product like this for a late evening/night time dewy look. Thoughts? Would you use this even with sunscreen? I don't typically wear foundation since my sunscreen already has a tint to it.

These all look beautiful on you. When you say to mixed them with foundation do you literally mix the primer and foundation together and then put it on or do the primer first and then the foundation on top?

I love elf fair/light cause had to mix with darker foundation I have from Dior

I use the Ilia radiant serum primer. I don’t really worry to much with that one. But I’m so dry not much comes off

Aww bummer was hoping you’d pick the other Dior one. (Dior Forever Glow Veil). It looks milky/sheer in the bottle. It’s super pretty! It doesn’t do a whooooole lot but, I think you’d like it! It’s very subdued.

I recently bought the L'Oreal Lumi glotion for the first time. I'm very oily, but I add a tiny amount to my foundation (Maybelline skin tint) I mix it up in the back of my hand with the makeup brush and it looks so nice on me. I thought it would make me look oilier but no, not really. I wouldn't wear it as a primer. If you're oily it really needs to be a very small amount. Not what you'd normally squeeze out for primer or foundation.

OMG Abbey your skin looks PHENOMENAL!! Just beautiful ... you must be drinking Oil of Olay!!!!! |Personally, as a more 'mature' - I HATE that word, but anyhoosies - I love the Natasha Denona Hy-Gen Primer Serum - very hydrating and the perfect amount of glow, for me anyway!! I am also loving the new YSL Nu Glow In Balm. I know these are on the more pricey end of things but at my age sometimes I find that drugstore brands (especially where 'glow' is concerned) are aimed more at a younger age-group that can get away with 'space-shine'. Don't get me wrong I am a HUGE fan of a lot of drugstore products, but in terms of getting my 'glow-on' I find these 2 the best!! Hope your bachelorette went well and you had a lot of fun!!

19:07 I got these versed drops in the same shade, sometime last year. I got them off of amazing btw. However, idk if maybe the one I purchased are a knockoff (despite it literally being sold under Versed on Amazon) but it looks NOTHING like what you showed in the video. Mine is just a tinted serum like substance with really big glitter particles inside it. I’ve tried shaking the bottle, adding it to moisturizer or my SPF. And each time my face looks like I threw glitter on myself. I don’t know what to do with it. I don’t want to throw it out bc I want to believe that I can put it to good use 😭😭😭 Did they possibly reformulate it? Because you mentioned how there are now three shades instead of there just being two..
