    UPDATE: Decided to run with the Light Green elastomer and long travel again for some further testing tonight; this will definitely give you the most travel with the least resistance you can achieve with these pedals. It's enjoyable for driving road cars and GT3/GT4 style, but you will lose a lot of the muscle memory abilities and rely on pedal travel if that's what you prefer. So I really think Astek should sell the light green elastomer and long travel kit as a set for people that want that experience. So it's the most significant difference you can achieve vs. the out of box setup.

    preload on a spring affects how much force is needed to start it compressing further, but doesn't change the spring rate- the amount of force required to compress by a certain amount after it has started moving. If you want a higher spring rate, but don't want to have a bunch of extra resistance to initial movement, then you want the accessory spring rather than a bunch of spring preload.

    This is some really helpful info. Not sure why they don't have an adjustable slot that allows the footrest to be set to whatever position you'd find most comfortable. Less skus too.

    I LOVE the Invicta pedal set. The only problem is my foots alignment on the throttle. I ordered the pedal bracket and that solved my problem! It's expensive but well worth the investment.

    I got the forte pedal faces and something i noticed immediately on the throttle is that the perimeter of the plate is more outwards and you can feel that under your foot while in socks, if the throttle pedal face was wider wouldn't be an issue. So im a bit disappointed with the faces. On the brake pedal i ended up using the light green + long travel kit at 30bar and in endurance races i keep hitting those high braking points and not get tired. Great video ❤

    Watching this now, asetek listen to you! They add now the forte plates ;) Tho i went with pagani pedals xD coming from a long brake and no chassis, i can’t wait to try it. So i still ordered long travel, and elastomer kit. Throttle is pretty ok ish i like it. But i will see. Elastomer may be too hard but i will see once chassis is set. I took long kit cuz i will put the pedal a bit more angle on it back so i wont loose any lengh. ;) Great video!

    How are you finding the brake pedal now that you have had some time with it?

  • @thomasbouvier3203

    @@wesleyshinto well chassis was definitely mandatory. And i am looking for even more, like a full set. That said, i got used to it and i really enjoy it. I played mostly lmu and ea wrc, and in both brakes are spot on. Gain a lot of confidence and precision. Got rid of elastomer kit and long travel. It helped a lot getting use to it and building strengh to have consistency. And now i run the stock elastomer again. If i had to change anything, i would go for invicta classics instead of pagani. That are sure stylinsh, but pedals are waaayyy too high for me to get the heel down. I think runing on lower setup of invicta would have been neat. So i built myself a little riser for heels xD and now its ok. Love them and wouldn’t trade them for anybrand :)

    Tons of useful info. I currently have the Forte Pedals and have been debating on the upgrade kit to the invicta brake. Looks like I'm just going to jump over to a different pedal set. For socks though, hospital socks are the same thing but much cheaper.

    Great review! The forte pedals I use are really tough for me to gain muscle memory. It seems invicta upgrade might be the path for me. The light green elastomer can be purchased from the elastomer kit right? Or only comes with invicta?

    That's because the forte and la prima are a hybrid pedal set both load cell and potentiometer turn the preload screw until the brake is very stiff and try to calibrate the brake you can't I have the la prima tk set and it Un usable for me I also have the fanatec v3s with the brake performance kit they move about 2 inches max but I max out the la prima no problem. Oh not to mention how close these pedals are together I risk never having children when I used them before switching back to my v3s

    So on my Invictas the white elastomer needs 58 bars to reach the 2nd stage. The black one needs 56 bars to reach second stage. There is virtually no difference.I don’t know if something is wrong with my pedals but i need about two times the strength of my sprint brake pedal ( with one x hard elastomer and loadcell on 65 kg) just to get to second stage. And the sprints where too light for me so i made the switch. But i really don’t believe that you need 100kg of brakeforce for their lightest elastomer. Does anybody else have this problem?

    Would these pedals be good for sprint cars iracing or simtrecs maybe?

    I've never tried the Simtrecs and I don't drive sprint cars in iRacing, but just keep in mind these pedals have a very short travel.

    Soooooo Because Asetek design is so bad as far as adjustability and ergonomics is concerned rather than re-design to fix all the shortcomings of this pedal set they choose to release a plethora of extra upgrades at extortionate prices to the end user lol, Tell me I have got this wrong as I would love to read your counter arguement.

  • @simracingden

    @simracingden

    So I don’t disagree with you when it comes to the elastomers it seems kind of silly to sell a kit that includes the same elastomers that come with the pedals with only two new variants that could have just been included from the get go. With regards to pedal travel Asetek was pretty clear that the pedal design was a firm and short travel it was only after a lot of feedback they came out with the long travel kit to try and accommodate more people and improve their experience with the pedals but your right the prices are a bit ridiculous for what it is.
