It breaks my heart that big companies are trying to cash in and cut these types of communities out. I would never buy shea butter from any of the big hair and skincare brands unless I knew they were working in partnership with local communities. I always buy shea butter made in African countries by Africans. The continent has been exploited enough and we need to take a stand with our money.

Beautiful 😊. We still use the Shea Butter that we bought in a village hours from Tamale from the amazing women in Ghana 🇬🇭 . It was such a special experience to see the hard work (and love) that goes into creating Shea Butter. Thank you for sharing this experience with us ❤❤

Amazingly beautiful this was! I love using shea butter and WOW! seeing all the work that goes into creating it is something I will be thinking about from now on when using shea butter.
