I travelled to the most remote part of Ghana to meet the women that make shea butter
World vision took me to the most remote corner of Ghana to see how they have empowered the women in the community and eliminated child labour in the shea butter process.

It breaks my heart that big companies are trying to cash in and cut these types of communities out. I would never buy shea butter from any of the big hair and skincare brands unless I knew they were working in partnership with local communities. I always buy shea butter made in African countries by Africans. The continent has been exploited enough and we need to take a stand with our money.
Beautiful 😊. We still use the Shea Butter that we bought in a village hours from Tamale from the amazing women in Ghana 🇬🇭 . It was such a special experience to see the hard work (and love) that goes into creating Shea Butter. Thank you for sharing this experience with us ❤❤

You’re welcome ☺️
Amazingly beautiful this was! I love using shea butter and WOW! seeing all the work that goes into creating it is something I will be thinking about from now on when using shea butter. Raven I so enjoy these videos and I love how you stand out but at the same time melt right into the places you visit. You are a beautiful soul and radiate such love and warmth wherever you are. I use to enjoy watching National Geographic - your videos remind me of them with the visions you are able to capture through the lens of your camera, but with the exception you have added flair and ambiance blended with that extra special personal touch which is truly magical. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us. 🥰
