there is an actual mod called "The Terminator" its even older than this. It's literally the same exact concept, minus the cloning part, and the respawning once traveling to the void. And the creator said that mod was the inspiration.

I think it'd be neat to do the same concept, but with a neural network AI that behaves like a player, rather than this "AI" (it technically is AI, but it's only doing what it's told, and can't learn from it's input)

With the water trap you could make the floor with stripes of soul sand and magma and have pistons move the blocked back and forth so that the AI would be stuck in the center of the water

As someone who uses this ai for singleplayer manhunts. I'll tell you that these things are incredibly difficult to play against. Other than that this was a very good video and is very relatable as well. Excellent video!

@@levirry717 what I've learned Is that eventually they do find you, but only if you stay in a spot for an extended period of time.

Any video where that snapshot is revisited is a good video. I wish they made that an experimental feature.

Another idea that came to mind: Baiting the Hunter AI to the Nether, then breaking the Nether Portal, then dying to respawn in the overworld, leaving the Hunter trapped there OR, Baiting the Hunter AI to the Nether, then planting and lighting a block of TNT right before you warp back to the overworld.

Couldn’t you have used entity cramming to trap it? The AI multiplies on death so you can possibly trap it in an infinite death loop. Although you may lose a single chunk because lag.

curious, how would have the AI reacted to stairs made of quickly repeating pistons? I guess it would still think it has a path to reach the player as the stairs are there so its unlikely to build its way out, but the pistons would keep pushing it back to where it came from... and since it force loads the chunk, even the player going away wouldnt allow it to escape

If you can somehow get a hold of a nether portal block. You can travel to the end dimension then place the nether portal block. After doing that find some way to lure it into the nether portal block and make it go through trapping it in the mirror dimension where you can't place any blocks or escape any other way other than dying. Yes there is a married dimension Well that's what I call it. But the thing is I don't know if it exists on Java. So it's a long shot.

it would be interesting to give the same abilities as the AI to a person and then see how they react to the traps and try to trap them.

​@@afterthefact6708 If you watched the video, you actually see him go to the nether , the ai spawns, he goes through a random dimension then to the overworked to escape. And it's trapped in the nether because when he went to check, the AI was still in the nether

For 100k, what about something like a sculk "virus" that follows the players? (like the same kind of thing as when a mob dies on it, it spreads, but perhaps could also take over passive mobs like golems to attack on sight? Is a thought.

If the AI could phase through bedrock by replacing it to go upwards somehow, what if you tried to just trap it on the nether ceiling instead? Theoretically the AI would see the bedrock as blocks it would need to mine, but as we all know, bedrock is indestructible. All you would need is the portal to be on the roof of the nether, and a piece of TNT to disable the portal. Then again this whole idea would probably be thrown out the window if the AI considers the frame itself to be a portal or the AI can somehow magically tear through bedrock.

hey what about the infinite cobblestone cage trap? then even if it mines the cobble it will instantly come back and it will just be trapped there , it was also used in pandora's vault

I have an easy one Make a platform and then run into it (in the over world with a hole leading to the void) Then when the bot comes close JUKE IT and then break the blocks under. Then it will keep respawning in the same place falling again and again and again.

Trap all the hunters in manhunt in another dimension while you beat they game. You need new dimension and fake buffed you you can control remotely to make it seems your with them. While in really your solo speed running. The dimensions needs to be op hard and all mobs are possible to fake you as to make sure it wont die while hunters go crazy.

I’m curious now. Let’s see if you can trap a Witherstorm (specifically the one from Cracker’s Witherstorm Mod)

I think you should try to trap the Wither storm. With the ability to suck up blocks and add to its own mass you will have to be very creative about it. It also has a very unique way to kill it which depending on where you are in the world can take a long amount of time which gives it time to enlarge which is why trapping it would be a good idea.

I trapped it in the nether, hoping for it to remain there as long as possible... dude this kind of sounds like a movie scenario

Yo did you know there's a update word teleports to you even if it a different Dimension because when I teleports to you when you go to that dimension it will spawn inside that Dimension and chase you if there's no players in that pacific dimension then it will teleport to you immediately and that is what happens in a fraction of a second

funny thing is, unlike what boosfer says, he didnt sacrifice the nether. he can just build a new portal and not put a book in it. it isnt the same dimension and therefore will not trigger the hunter. (well, unless its coded differently than im thinking, because it could also be coded to where if a new dimension is entered it teleports there, meaning going to the nether or end will teleport the ai to a valid dimension)

Maybe I missed something, but I think what happened is that when they went to the DP dimension, the AI stayed in the Nether, cause it thought Boosfer just went through a normal Nether portal. Then when they went from the DP dimension to the Overworld, again, the AI stayed in the Nether, because the AI thought they were going to the Nether. So the AI is now trapped in the Nether.

I like the troupe of sealing a great evil Examples: Mafuba, this, and my favorite is that medieval Minecraft story of Ryan (I can't remember his full username)

I would love this to just be made into a series on second channel or something

I wonder if this would be easier or more difficult if you tried it with an account running Baritone or similar instead of a bot from a singleplayer manhunt datapack. Then again, I don't know if that kinda hack is that good at tracking down players and killing them yet, as opposed to just pathfinding and placing/breaking blocks.

you can make a cobble stone generator and have 2 layers of it and pistons push it to make a 12x12x2 box and if one block gets broken another one gets pushed by a piston from a generator

It is an AI, because it learned in the past (when the model was being trained). It just isn't learning anymore. According to CS terminology it totally counts as an AI.

However, "technically", this is still classified under computer science as AI, as all something has to do to be AI is to perform human-like activities. The term you may be thinking of is "machine learning" which is a subset of AI and necessitates that the model learns over data.

Wasn't worth sacraficing a player but it was worth sacrificing an entire dimension. this is like when the super villain destroys an entire demesion just to save the person they loved.

Oh! Make the ender dragon, but tiny, unable to hurt you, and REALLY annoying :D Also, it could be super fast and be able to dodge hits, accuracy depending on the difficulty

ik im 5 months late but i have a way to trap it you do the under the void shulker cage, but make it 2 walls think because i notices it can phase through only a block. and if possible, make morse cages around the main cage to keep it there (make sure they are connected

I have an idea which might work but I’m not sure, you have a enderpearl stasis chambers thousand of blocks away from each other with a redstone clock that takes an hour or so to activate the chamber. So in theory the hunter chases you and when it gets close you teleport far away and reset that chamber and after a while he will come back but your other chamber will teleport you away.

Boosfer's new editing style is confusing and amazing, this videos actually deserves more than 1M views.

I could be wrong, but wouldn't the end still work? As long as you didn't fall into the portal and all you had to do was just push it into the portal somehow, and it would take care of it. Self mainly cause of the end of dragon and the end of as even if it did teleport enderman would still attack it and go after it. And not to mention how powerful the end of dragon is and that it would keep it back from teleporting. I would force it to activate the end exit

1by 4 tower with a soul sand colume and a elder gardian for mining fatigue and a beacon + conduite so they can't die by staving etc.Make the wall with obsidian. It would take YEARS to break out even with haste2

Perhaps the robot cannot respawn in the End and it needs a solid block within its respawn range to land to. It only replaced water blocks when it reached the top of Bubble Trouble 3000. But once the bottom was removed, it fell instead.

you can make a fricking minecraft movie with that editing in the intro

The dimension idea wouldn't work if it was using modding instead of commands. Because every book has a name behind it, and is in a variable. Which means if it was connected to Minecraft code it MIGHT (this is a stretch) be able to follow you. The reason its a stretch is because you might have to wrote cod for every dimension, but he wants it to be untrappable soooooo GRIND BBY
