I'm gonna squeeze in Toby next week! KZread is a strange world. Mandi and I absolutely love Toby. I was shocked at the people who said they were unsubscribing and not watching the videos because I showed too much of Toby. I even had a comment saying they were no longer gonna watch because Toby was up next to me in bed while I was drinking my morning coffee. I LOVE that I have good dog folks watching the videos too. I know Toby's the star of the show! 🐕

Toby is a sweetheart. If people don't like him in the video, it's their problem not yours. One of retirement trips is to contrite 66 from start to finish. We are debating between getting a truck and camper and a an SUV with a small bumper pull. Your videos give us so much food for thought. Thank you.

Make more than doctors on $150/day per diem (tax free) plus their hourly and OT. I would tell them when they were young "this stuff wasn't made in another galaxy".

Sometime, if you are looking for another "tour" video, how about a camp-cooking themed video? You've made some great things over the years and we try to make some of them when we camp, like the sliders and the chicken soup. Thanks for the tour of your "cabin"!

Kenny I spend 5 - 6 months down here in the Florida Keys in a truck camper since it's the only way I can trailer a boat all the way from Michigan to handle these waters in the winter ( avg daytime temps high 70's and night time lows avg high 60's) lol. I stay in a 2019 Lance 850 and although most would choke on what I pay monthly for my site it is worth every single dime I saved prior to retiring to enjoy nearly 175 bluebird days out of 180 days while my wife and I are down here. This is truly a dream come true for the last 4 years and all done in a tiny living space - by most folks living standards.

Over the last three years I have been playing with a off grid water colection system at my hunt camp, just because I find it interesting. Last year with my upgrades and designs had water all year. We just traded our Adventurer camper with East-west bed for a Lance with a North-south bed because we were tired of crawling over each other. Our first camper was a Palomino pop-up with a north-south bed so we really missed it while we had the Adventurer.

It’s easy to tell you love doing this Kenny--it certainly shows in the quality work you put into these videos. The way you edit/assemble, set up seamless transitions, pick just the right music to complement a scene--etc, all of your hard work contributes to such a very well done video. I sure do enjoy them. Thank you!

I built a tiny house (two rooms and a bathroom). After living in a truck camper for 2 years, this tiny home seems gigantic. I've gotten great tips from you and other camper nomads on using limited space.

My truck has 300,000 miles, my 2500 suburban has 180,000 miles, both have towed my trailer. I really dig that front hitch, I think I need that in my life. Great video.

Over time you've really made some great modifications and additions to your home away from home, I'm sure it's an inspiration for others. I'm surprised that maintenance videos don't do well, there are so many KZreadrs that do that. Maybe the folks that watch aren't as interested but I'd certainly enjoy one. Take every opportunity to learn, you never know when it'll come into good play. You might mention your drone again, liscenseing, classes, laws, kinds, etc.. I had no clue about that! Whether it’s a camping video, a camper tour, or maintenance, I’ll watch. You’ve inspired me to get out and camp more. I agree, it only takes motivation to get out and go camp. Last fall I spent a week in the Upper Peninsula, and I slept in the bed of my 2002 Ranger every night (I’m sorry it’s a Ford 😂). I was super comfortable and didn’t wish I had anything fancier.

This is really interesting, seeing how you've made the camper work for you. Having been in one without the slide, it seems like that's a big benefit to get more elbow room. Being a tent camper, it's easy to see how this is a lot more comfortable and enables you to camp all year. I really enjoy all of your videos! You have a very calming presence, even when faced with challenges!

Thanks Kenny, great video. I have been looking at older campers since the price of new ones are ridiculous. Appreciate the detail on what you have had to do to get to the good setup you have now. I enjoy the maintenance videos as much as the camping. Always learn something new from them. I like the motivation comment, so true! It is the main requirement to actually get out there and enjoy the outdoors.

My vote of course it's going to be, I would really like to see a service video. Especially seeing yout I am not mechanically inclined at all, so getting advice on what should I be looking for, the steps to take care of something, also steps to prevent things from going wrong, well those are always helpful. Like one thing I'm really interested in it is when you're campers not on your truck, do saw horses, do you have a platform that you that helps take the stress not off just the camper Jacks but also the bottom of your camper where your water tanks and so forth. Love your videos, play also love the advice you provide, it's extremely valuable to me at least personally. So my vote is, service video. You have a great week and blessings to you and yours.

Great questions. I do have a platform built for long-term storage off the camper. I built it low to the ground, and I can use the camper when it's not in the truck. For the most part, the camper stays in the truck 365 days a year

I was born and raised in small town in SE Minnesota. As a boy, I admired some folks in town who could somehow make anything work for them because they were skilled enough to fix and maintain things in their life or by helping friends and neighbors. You have made yourself a wonderful weekend nest that you enjoy year round and anywhere you want. You have made it yours, and I can feel the pride you have in your camper. Sometimes, in today’s world, it is difficult to remember that we have a unique soul that needs attention and care. My husband made our small camp trailer. We dont have running water in it. The bathroom is basically what you do, but we us horse palets from Tractor Supply and add a few cups to the bottom of the bag just to help keep the smell from flowing through the camper. Works like a charm. Try the pellets, they also absorb the liquids. 😁
