In this video I try to restore a watch to make it run again. The original owner said it would run and stop for the last year. However, when reviewing the watch it was not running at all! It was supposedly serviced sometime in the last 3 years..... Going to have to replace the crystal, as well as, find out what is stopping this 1960s Eterna Matic Kontiki 20 from running.

I just found your video. I always liked these Eterna 20. One thing surprised me. I never saw the Oyster style bracelet that is on your watch. It really suits the watch. Do you know if it is stock?Usually, they come with a Gay Frères BOR bracelet.

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it. The only thing I would really focus on, besides quality is making sure you have all the sizes you need to work on whatever wristwatches you plan to do. The set I have is a vintage watchcraft 8 winder set, not super expensive but not bad in quality. The main ones I use out of that set is the 3 biggest sizes. If you are asking about pocket watch mainspring winders, then I love the K&D No 128 vice winder. Hope it helps!

Yes I feel it was definitely worth the trade. On top of having a great watch, I got to learn a few new things that can go wrong with watches!!! Lol.
