That’s highly unlikely - they can’t be bothered to update the organ model they’ve been using for years. A model which sounded good in 2013 but today… not so good. One of many reasons I’m not paying for a Nord Stage 4.

nice find. the price on these have gone crazy. I lucked up on a C2 a year or so again. I didn't really need it, but I knew they were getting to where they didn't come up for sale as often as they use to. I have a 330 Leslie to go with it - play gospel as well as classical so I like the Hammond/pipe combo.

I found mine at Sam Ash here in Orlando and traded a Nord 6d and A Dexibell organ for it and have been the happiest organ player in the city!! Love it!!!

It would have been nice to give context examples regarding how the two organs actually compare to each other. Just on this example, the CD2 sounds like the Viscount. They both sound very nice for organ clones, I would not be able to say one has an edge over the other in isolation. Anyway, thanks for the commentary.

Maybe its me but I've played the Nord C2D but minus the the Leslie sim just straight organ sound, the Viscount to my ears is more realistic than the Nord

The viscount live is ok could be alot better. I preferred the organ on the C2D. The viscount live lacked in hearing the rotor/horn turning. The new soul is better but 2x more expensive

Either I've gone crazy or I'm going deaf. I have owned the Viscount Legend, Crumar Mojo, Hammond SK1, Hammond SK Pro, Roland VR730 and currently own a Nord Stage 4 Compact. The worst organ of all by far is the Nord Stage 4. Its organ motor sounds like absolute shit. I have been lucky enough to improve the tone by taking the organ out of the two auxiliary outputs and passing it through a Neo Ventilator II. Without the Ventilator it sounds horrible, not very clear and it seems that the sound is put inside a cardboard box. I think that with the amount of money you pay for this keyboard, it is a shame that they don't bother to update the organ and have a decent one. My favorite of all of them is the Crumar Mojo.

I truly believe the C2D engine has been altered a bit. I own a stage 3 compact and find the organ Is a bit limited myself. And sounds completely different than the electro 6d and C2D Dual manual. I do now own a crumar mojo classic and love it

I have had a Nord C2D for 7 years and would like to know if the Viscount has a more authentic B3/C3 sound. I only recently became aware that the Viscount existed. Thanks for this video. I now feel like I am not missing out on anything. I have not ever used the High Level Out. Have you found a use for it yet?

Your not missing anything, I just recently had to sell the C2D for financial reasons. But the C2D still out performs the Viscount Legend Live easily. Keep the C2D
