I Toured Miami's ABANDONED Arabian City: Opa Locka - What Happened?

Ойын-сауық

I head down to Miami to explore Opa Locka, a city built on the Arabian Nights city theme that never saw completion and later was abandoned and to see...what happened? The structures still remain today so I went to have a look and explore the city.

Wow, this is truly amazing, the architecture design is stunning. I'm shocked that this wasn't kept up to the respect the building deserves. Thank you for sharing this experience, truly appreciated. ❤️

Hard to believe this is right here in Miami. It never ceases to amaze me that necessary funds aren't raised to better preserve and gentrify these historic places. The Deauville I did a vlog about is perhaps the best example. JFK gave speeches there...the Beatles played on Ed Sullivan there, yet they just took a wrecking ball to it and it's gone forever. Glad I was able to visit even in its sad state before it was completely demolished. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dn6lyLSTd92dn8o.html

@Barefoot Vlogger I used to work across the street from the Deauville. What a loss it was. A lot of the mid beach hotels that were nicer than the tacky Fountainbleu are gone now.

Barefoot, you are as brave as balls! Love your channel and the many outings you've brought the Army. But Opa Locka on foot - when even the cops are telling you to be careful - a new respect for your valor! I went to Miami-Dade Community College North Campus in Opa Locka in the mid-'70s, and it wasn't safe then! Just continue to be careful. I don't want your great travelogues turning into evidence!
