I think Yammie Noob will single handedly shame suzuki into updating and improving the gsxr 250 from this type of content. Suzuki needs to make it a 400cc to compete the Kawasaki Ninja 400.

They could just tune it better. 10500 redline with 11.5:1 compression is embarrassing. The Ninja 250 redlined at 14000 with 13.1:1 compression in the late 80s. 250s have potential, Suzuki just wasted it

@@FinalRendition you are correct, but it just seems like there is no reason for the to have a 250 "super sport". Just use a bigger better engine, like a 300. They already have a 125cc gixxer so it doesn't make much sense

@@gabrielko2147 It's makes sense in certain countries. There are taxes, fee's, license requirements in various places around the world that incentivize people to ride 250's. Hence the i4 zx25r being sold in some regions. So, while I understand why Suzuki has this bike in it's global lineup, it's awfully lazy and borderline foolish to try to sell the thing against a ninja 400 for basically the same price. (If they were selling it for like $2999 I think we could forgive them.)

Actually gsx125 is much better than this bike. It has much lighter weight and same performance as r125. While this 250 is suck because the body is heavier and slower than r250. The reason is this bike using same engine as inazuma (single cylinder) and meant as daily bikes. But suzuki putting inside 250 body because they can't create new engine

I have one too and that's what it's about. Not fast by any means, but even though it's porky and pokey, it feels super smooth and stable around town, and I typically average about 70mpgs. With the 4 gallon tank you can ride 200+ miles before filling up. I went one tooth up on the front sprocket to kill the rpms a bit at interstate speeds, which it can do, it just doesn't have anything in reserve power wise.

But to race it, it is sub par for what it is, no doubt.

i don't think it teaches you bad habits it's just one less thing to worry about and can concentrate on tecnique also that track is way to straight for low displacement

@@yammienoob i have my share of experience whit dangerous unstable "not meant to do what i'm doing" low displacement bike. what i'm trying to say is it's best to learn on a sketchy bike and then jump on an actual good bike if something happens you will know what to do

Forget turbo Busa we want turbo 250cc!! Ps I wonder how much slower you would go on the gsxr125 which is the lightest out of all the 15bhp 125cc sport bikes. So I recon you maybe even faster then the 250cc

99.99% of GSX250R owners don't take this on a track! LOL! At least change the gearing for the track, bro. Try a 41t rear and try again.

Im just getting into this hobby. I wanted this bike, now I want a Ninja 400, but the Indian FTR Rally is also really interesting. Ahh!! So many choices, styles, panty droppers, etc... my head is spinning. Maybe I'll just get a Kawasaki KLR650s. oooh.. or the BMW G310, or the CRF300. Dammit, there goes my spinning head agian. Stop y'all, just stop.
