'I TOOK PACQUIAO APART' - AMIR KHAN'S MANNY CLAIM, CANELO'S POWER & WHY AJ HAS NO CHANCE V USYK

Спорт

In an exclusive in-depth interview with Amir Khan, the recently retired boxing champion opens up on his reasons for hanging up the gloves, gives the lowdown on why fights with Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao never materialised and gives a brutal assessment of Anthony Joshua's chances of exacting revenge on Oleksandr Usyk.
Khan also opens up on the "dirty" side of the sport, why he's not a fan of the Paul brothers and why he'll always be indebted to Freddie Roach, one of the hardest working men in boxing.

Amir khan has been an ambassador to the sport of boxing, I’ve followed his career from the 2004 Olympic Games, highs and lows of his career, yes he made a lot of mistakes too, life would be so boring if everything went smooth, always involved in exciting fights, never ducked nobody, UK fans simply don’t give this guy enough credit always banging on about his chin, boxing is not easy, it’s a blood sport, many have died from, happy retirement!

I've always liked Amir. Some years back when there was quite a bit of disgusting and unsavoury racial stirring, celebrating terrorist acts against the UK, Amir came straight out to say he was a proud British Pakistani. He's been a good person, a good role model and a positive influence.

Kevin Kelly did not beat Naz 🤦🏽‍♂️ most boxing people know in the USA you don’t fight in Washington when you have a big fight…..ask Bernard Hopkins. Khan was told not to fight Peterson in Washington due to awful decisions of judges….should have fought him in vegas or U.K.

Name another British fighter in the history of boxing that had the courage to move to the US at the age of 21 and fight the best they had to offer for 10 Years? Clazgage, Froch, Hatton? All got demolished or avoided the best fighters at their peak.

It’s hardly delusion if he’s already an Olympian, had world titles, been boxing since he was 8, lives in America, fighting guys in the top rankings of his division. Delusion would be you or I thinking we could achieve that or beat Floyd etc. So maybe now that you googled delusion, you can start using it in the correct context.
