if you're at the edge of his attack range when you're slowed(where he automatically does the swing without running) you can backstrafe and be safe every time consistently, its pretty easy once you understand it

When you get slowed by the troll's roar try running toward him as he runs at you then jump past him on the left side. Should be able to clear his club whether he swings low or high since it starts low behind him on either.

To get away from the shout you stand like 6 feet away from him and look at the side until the shout visual effects that go out of his mouth stop appearing, then just walk to the side

Someone please recognize when I say whoever makes the changes just goes through character phases. One day warlocks getting all the buffs, next month they’re nerfing warlock pretty bad n buffing barb, then from barb to wizard and they nerfed barb then buffed wizard insanely then nerfed wizard back, to now buffing ranger again. Like bro, and they still havnt fixed the secret cleric meta cause that class is literally better than wizard with magic pvp. It’s crazy how they let that exist, a healing character with insane flash bang damaging magic ranged attacks that can do 1/3-2/3ds of your health with a huuuuuuuuuuge casting ground hitbox, I bought a pc to play this game and I fucking regret it, ultimately decided to wait months later to play when they’re done bipolaring and ruining my classes and buffing others to meta to ruining those classes and slightly buffing my classes just to nerf my classes back to buffing ranger but now the games to fucking miserable to play and you don’t find enough loot to surviving ratio in normals, only fun to pvp than waste time opening boxes that don’t give u shit, when you could roll the next timmy with your stupid class and have everything, high rollers completely unplayable for the amount of naked randons I play with that have all the confidence in the world pushing a 3 man geared team thinking they’re god or something? But his games a major disappointment not to mention the new map, the only thing special about the new map is you literally just move slower, as if that wasn’t already a problem before being to slow and being outkited, worst new game aspect I’ve ever played, other games add cool crazy weapons or new game modes, nah we just to walk slower in blue goblin caves, siiiiiiick, awesooooooooome. And mob densities are way higher with having to fight 5-6 wolves in crowded spaces, having to slowly walk past enemies to get to an exit, to then be forced to clear the whole room cause u can’t just walk yet alone run fast enough. Like cool, great map. Honestly fuck this game, I first viewed it as so much potential but it never had a fucking chsnce with shit devs, plus the discord mods can literally sit in gen chat watching people emotionally hurt others but the moment you fight back they just mute ban you while the people who’re starting shit still in gen chat mocking the muted person. Everything about this game is a fucking L. J can’t take it seriously half the time.
