I take my mother, students from my school, and volunteers from my organization on a three-day, all-paid-for field trip. For day one, I take them to Hacienda Bendición in Pinalejo so the students can learn about farm life and the sacrifices of the farmers.
My mother tries Honduran dairy products, Santa Barbara coffee and Honduran chicken soup for the first time.
