The funniest part is being a floor level employee at a factory actually does require zero experience. Joe Schmo could walk off the street and run machines after reading the handy guides that are usually in the work stations

Hopefully it’s a Mr Outlaw factory because people in Mr_Outlaw stories tend to have interesting adventures lol I want to go to his universe and grab so many different things! The God Serum, Invincibility shards, The Godslaying Cannon, The Singularity Blade, etc lol

A slug doesn't produce a " cluster of holes ". A slug only produces a large hole and massive trauma. Buckshot produces a cluster of holes large enough to see from a distance. Not the worst mistake, just one a hunter or gun guy would immediately notice. With that said, excellent story and awesome narration as uaual. Enjoyed it like always.

you might just be my main favorite narrator at this point, your work is absolutely wonderful. i've praised your accents in every comment i've left, but i have to remark on your russian accent separately bc as an actual real life russian, i can barely put up with them - most sound completely inauthentic and/or stupid and unrealistic and/or just plainly annoying. yours is no such thing, it actually sounds authentic without being harder to understand (!), being too thick or anything like that. have you considered professional voice acting? your talent is exceptional.

... I JUST started my factory job 3 days ago. It also happens to be my first job. The only bad thing that has happened so far is that my feet will eventually hurt. The past 2 days I didn't have to do pretty much anything though, so that's nice. Not enough work to go around for the parts inspector company I was hired by.

Get some good support insoles for your shoes. Don't wear sneakers spend the money to get a good pair of steel toed boots (not cheap ones. Hubby looks at the stitching if it's stitched on or glued, the glued ones fall apart in a few months.) They may not look comfortable at first but those boots are designed to be worn by someone on their feet all day. If you stand in one place A cardboard box broken down and laid flat in front of your work station can help if the floor is concrete. Propping up one foot on a step (a low shelf under your station, your lunch box, etc) will help take a lot of pressure off your lower back. Alternate feet as needed. I've put in my time in factory jobs, I wish someone would have told me these tricks 30 years ago when I had my first.

I haven't yet figured out how this story fits into the entire Outlaw Universe's narrative. It fits into the Universe itself with the copies and the strange portals and the overall weirdness of it all. But I don't know how it fits into the bigger picture. If anyone has an explanation, please respond to my comment.

I know it isn't your story, but man I hate when people write stories involving guns when they know nothing about guns... shotguns shoot slugs and shoot shot shells, shot shells are extremely small to rather decent size pellets (think considerably smaller than a BB to maybe 3 times the size) and then slugs, one solid chunk of lead, usually 1oz in weight. So he says, it shoots a slug, and the slug hits the suit leaving a "cluster of holes"? Then later it says he's shooting at someone and the "bullets spread" (inexact quote, as I was typing this while listening) but that's basically what he said, assuming it was shooting shot shells now. Like wtf. Get it right.
