As someone who has also had a cardiac issue at a young age really felt nice hearing people talk about it. Never thought such a short conversation on Soccer AM could put me in such a positive mood, thank you!

Depending who arrives this summer will affect how Frank decides to play next season, but I'm guessing it will be more front foot and less pragmatic. In a dream world where Brennan Johnson and Aaron Hickey sign, Eriksen will get more opportunities on goal.

Was worried he wasn’t going to be able to get back to his best after such a horrible moment forced him to stop playing. But he’s come back and absolutely smashed it. Class act and a great player to watch ❤️

I signed him back from Brentford to Spurs in my FM22 save. He scored a banger long shot in the Champions League final against PSG, and helped us lift the big cup. Absolutely a fantastic footballer

Won world player of the year twice in a row when i got him on a free for Dormund when he left Brentford Only thing that stopped him getting it three in a row was an unfortunate 4 month injury

Honestly so lovely, two great guys who are fighters

I had open heart surgery as a 1 year old, so was lucky enough to not remember any of it. I can’t begin to imagine how scary it must be to go through what Eriksen & Tubes did as an adult. Thankfully, we live in a time where your chances of surviving such moments are much higher. Credit to those out there working their arses off everyday to save lives. Legends 🧡

almost a year to the day it happened, i feared the worst for him. so glad he is back and making a full recovery, playing again and enjoying it. I wasnt aware of Tubes having a heart attack, again glad he has made a recovery and looking healthy. All these things we take for granted and suddenly your life is in jeopardy, life can be precious

Eriksen didn’t enjoy it at Tottenham. He only respects them due to his friends.

I actually complained to offcom for the handling of the situation by the BBC. For trying to shove cameras in his face while he was essentially breathing his last breath , and being given life saving treatment. Absolutely frightening moment, as a Spurs fan it was surreal and still had the memory of Fabrice Muamba in the memory. Could not be happier that he is still playing and has a smile on his face

Don't know about the other guy but as far as I know Eriksen didn't have a heart attack (cardiac infarction) but a cardiac arrest.

Didn’t realize Tubes had a heart attack, dang. I’m not a Bees fan however I did by an away jersey with his name on the back. It’s like Bob Harper - he had a widow maker & every so often I do a spin class he’s in & he’s on fire 🔥 I was watching that game on ESPN and the camera zoomed on to his face - thought he was gone. Very scary.

He's still just as good imo. Seeing him at Brentford you're aware he's often the best player on the pitch for either side. Seemed like every game you knew he would be behind at least 1 goal.

I always thought the issue playing again would be the regulations because fifa say they're quite strict and in the many documents one of them says no football after heart attack or family history of sca. I'd have thought having an sca yourself would make you illegible. I'm glad he's physically well and hope he's getting the support mentally
