Dude, I am a Traxxas fanboy! I have no other RC brands! I have like 10 TRX4/6 and one Raptor R and soon a Hot Rod to put on my Hauler😄. Hope they re-release the TRX4 1979 Bronco as a High Trail with clipless! Thing i hate is that Traxxas mostly makes red and blue bodys nowadays... mostly!

This looks like it's driving really nicely 👍The brushed fiesta rally st had some handling issues out of the box. Mine pushed every corner and once I got a faster motor in it, it was really unstable at speed.

I think the wheels are fine for that car, I also respect your opinion Mark 👍 Thanks for all the Videos!!

i work at a hobbyshop in lewisville, sold like 30-40 bl2s cars over the holidays and the only one i've seen with broken parts had a rear camber link break (which doesn't even come upgraded)

When i bought the brushed version, i upgraded to the vxl. But the game changer that actually made this way better was upgrading the slipper to a locked differential. Made ALL the difference

Rally is awesome, I kind of went all out on a rally and it's one of my favorites!!!!

I had the brushed version of the rally and it was slow, but this doesn’t look much faster. Too bad it didn’t come with HD clipless body system! Running my Maxx and Granite together, I love the clipless body on the Maxx but losing the body every so often is kind of a bummer.

I love my rally. Actually my first hobby grade rc. Got it off the snap on truck. It now is a street basher and has a 2000kv 6s system and several supporting mods. Probably never let go because it's my first rc.

I had the original vxl rally. I think it was my 3rd rc. Loved the car except for its lack of durability. Broke a shock and turn buckle by hitting a pine cone.

Honestly , theres nothing wrong with liking what you like . But you are a fanboy , you have mainly traxxas products . 9.9 times out of 10 your post comes from traxxas . Nothing wrong with it

He supposedly has a close friend that works at Traxxas and uses that source to get exclusives for his content. As a result, you understand Mark has to basically push Traxxas products, just as any RC publication, website, blog, influencer, forum, etc would be required to do. That's the way the world works and there is something wrong with that.

I have one and I turned it brushless and put sway bars on it and run it on carpet and it works really good

I like Traxxas. The oddball thing is “The Other Guy” based in Illinois is as large or larger than Traxxas and has purchased multiple RC companies and has a huge legal team. People that think they wouldn’t respond to companies trying to copy their products in the same way are super jaded. My brands are Traxxas, Kyosho, and probably Team Associated. Sure maybe the automatic blocking of sku’s wasn’t the best method of remediation but we need more companies in the hobby, not consolidation. One key element to Traxxas success is they own their R&D and they have their own production facility in Taiwan. This is a similar model Kyosho (R&D in Japan, Taiwan and Japan for manufacturing)and Tamiya (R&D in Japan and manufacturing in Japan and the Philippines) use. Alternatively, “the other guy” owns their R&D but production is from multiple producers that are contracted to manufacture their products. The latter model leads to some half baked releases that end up having to be fixed by customer service and then updated in the second batch. All RC companies have good and bad releases though and this doesn’t exclude Traxxas as they’ve had things that need to be fixed. Sorry for the long note just trying to bring to light the company everyone thinks is perfect isn’t so perfect.

One of my local tracks just opened a rally track. Lookin at picking up a car to help support the track

This quick review was very good. I think white rally wheels would look better. I had the old rally with the wide body, and I have one of these. I like them both . I do parking lot racing. In our lot the tires are not as good. I noticed the body came off when you laded tail first coming off the jump. Was that was because the body holder was broken r would it come off anyway?

Mark love the video also think it’s really funny when you crash or a body comes off you break to the clip where your sad and crying and was kinda sad that this video didn’t have that when the body flew off anyways love what you do with rc👍

My daily driver is a big turbo Fiesta ST. For rc I only have a merv I upgraded and made into a Baja bug. This thing is calling my name.

I bought the stampede 4x4 BL2s heavy duty kit is holding up well but the steering servo broke in about 5 days after buying it. Other then that soiled truck.

We use these in a racing series at my local track and it’s incredible! Look up racing rays bullring!

Love my rally. The hoss center diff is good upgrade as well.

Wonder if they are going to make the clipless conversation kit like they did on the slash

The main good/and bad thing about Traxxas is that they keep recycling cars. Good from a parts availability perspective, bad from a new product/innovation standpoint. HH's major sins are they keep discontinuing products which makes part support a real problem. HH philosophy is that their products are deliberately 'disposable' so that you have to buy new stuff.

I like the Rally. Might buy it next. Just bought the new Stampede 4x4 BL-2S(lower-powered Hoss). ❤

Love the gear, Mark. 😎 And personally, I like all these BL2 RC cars from traxxas. I got the slash a few months ago and love it. I’m thinking the stampede BL2s may be my next traxxas. But first, I’m saving for the Arrma notorious 6s. Yea, I love a lot of different RC brands. 🙌🏼😂 Great video. That thing does look pretty cool.

Traxxas just released interiors for the TRX4 Blazer (trx9114) and new Blazer clipless bodys (trx9130 and 9131) with clear windows. Hope you check them out.

RC & rally = ❤, especially with some custom parts and bodies .

If I lived that close to the traxxas HQ I would be a fanboy no shame, we just have a small traxxas shop at my work and it made me a fan boy. Having the parts I need available to me in person and at a slight discount has made me a fanboy

Nice review, Mark. I had a Rally that I got from a friend. He had upgraded it to the Velineon system, TQI, and sway bars. It was a super fun car on pavement and on baseball fields. But the clearance was too low for general bashing, so I ended up converting it to a Slash LCG. But I still have the Rally parts, and I have thought about putting it back together since it is so fun. I'm really glad Traxxas didn't discontinue it. Also, this gives hope that some of the other Traxxas models that disappeared recently from their website might make a comeback. ERevo, Summit, TRX4 kit, for instance. Traxxas makes great cars. Being passionate about them doesn't make you a fanboy. I think a fanboy would be someone who only likes Traxxas and hates on every other brand. You give objective, positive reviews to other brands, too, so you're not a fanboy.

2014 sued hpi for putting an o ring around receiver box 2016 sued arrama for lay down shocks. Which is something that tamiya has had since the 80s. Oh and let's not forget copying ultimate RCs crimea which was a short course chassis with a summit body and released it as the Telluride in 2013 with no credit

So they also pulled the Summit from the shelves. Will they do an updated version of that too?

I don’t know why anyone would have an issue with being a fan boy of any brand, if I had a traxxas store up the road I’d probably work there, shop there and spend more time there than home. If losi was up the road same thing. Connivence alone would be the reason. The fact it’s a top brand is just an awesome bonus.

I picked up a used Traxxas Rally VXL model TRA74076. I absolutely love this car but I am curious to know if the Fiesta ST body will fit it? I’m sure I’ll need new body posts but I am not sure on anything else.

If I’m not mistaken the original rally is different then the fiesta st. Being the st is smaller. I had a rally slash and it was the same foot print as a slash 4x4 the st is smaller next to a slash which the old one was more based on.

No, they are the same cars afaik. Just a few different parts like center driveshaft, body, electronics. Other than that everything is the same.

You need some "MSM-S-M" patent your own stability management and sell the idea to traxxas as updated TSM.

I'm hoping the traxxas summit gets revamped and brought back. I've got one and would love an updated version

When did Traxxas change their motor wiring connectors? I'm used to seeing bullets on them. That one almost looked like the MT60 connector. Coincidentally I just swapped the wiring over in the rental Slash over to MT60 since it's using a Losi RTR style 13.5T setup. It's similar to the BL 2S performance. I went with the MT60 connector to try and make maintenance a little simpler, easier, and faster.

@AsurasWrath164 no. XT60 is a 2 pin plug you would normally use as a battery connector. MT60 is a 3 pin plug that puts the bullets in the shape of a triangle that I used for my motor wiring as a means of quick disconnect. There is also MR60, which is basically an XT60 but with 3 pins.

You gotta take this one to the track sir. After all it’s a race car

The brushed rally is slowwwwwwww. Had to covert mine to VXL. It handles so good tho. I was watching that RC flipping toward the Lincoln like Nooooo no no no 😂

It’s not that you’re a fan boy. It just the direct comparisons you do like Slash Ultimate Vs a Senton BLX with no tuning attempted, knowing the BLX doesn’t have aluminum hop ups as a factory option. If you’re not doing it on purpose fine, but it comes off as shady or your sandbagging the BLX to a lot of us who play with both brands. Other then that I love your content. 🤙🤙🤙

i love traxxas SCT cars but got a little love also for rally cars. bandits is also a favorit as i race buggys also (Xray xb2). but most of the other monster truck look bashers like craton and rustler it start to get a bit feedup on that since almost every brand at this point got 10 versions of them that is over powered and handles like crap.
