I Think We're Finally Losing It, Camera Comparisons & Cauliflower Hair! | Home Vlog

In today's video we talk about setting goals for the day in order to keep a good attitude throughout the day. We started looking for small projects to do around the house to help keep us on track with our goals and keep our minds active. We found some old paint in the garage that we think we are going to use to paint an accent wall in our guest room. Sometimes people ask us how Jenn edits and what program she uses so we added in a small time lapse of her editing so you could see her editing process. We also played around with a few different choices for a vlogging camera to see which one sounded and looked better. In the video we showed a comparison between the Sony a6600 and the Canon G7Xmk2, but the majority of this video was filmed with the Canon. We also talked about how Jackson's motor skills are progressing so fast! He is grabbing and holding things now! Then we finished out the video with another Martha and Marley Spoon recipe & we talk about toys we want to buy for the baby because his 4 month milestone is tomorrow! Thank you for hanging out at home with us! We'll see you tomorrow with another vid!

Judy Custer well I mean they’re not vegan they consistently eat meat and animal products in their other cooking videos and restaurant reviews. One vegan meal here and there isn’t the end of the world. Plus the food they make isn’t for you it’s for them to enjoy and for people like us who like the food and want to hear their thoughts on it.

Aww when Tim told Jenn that Disney isn't taking reservations till June she looked like she was going to cry, which made me cry😭 this whole quaratine has been horrible I'm due in 3 weeks and now I have to worry everyday if my state is going to keep my husband from being there for the birth of our daughter. And It hurts so much to know that I'm bringing my daughter into a world of so much chaos. I'm glad I have people like the trackers though to watch to help me get through the days and keep my mind occupied even if only for 20 minutes. Seeing Jacksons smiling and laughing face brings me so much Joy. So thank you trackers for helping me through this❤

Tessa Darnall I’m so sorry you are going through this while getting ready to have your baby 😔. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers that your hubby can be there. And same when I saw Jenn’s face, it made me so sad. I just can’t wait for this to be over and go back to “normal” life. I said to my daughter the other day, it literally feels like we are stuck in a sci-fi movie and can’t get out 😢

Tessa - As an L&D nurse I feel for you. We are still allowing dad's but it's just starting to hit this corner of LA county. If your hospital does cancel dad's being at the bedside, it's a huge disappointment for you both, but you will handle this. Be proactive now. Is this a 1st baby or are you an experienced mom. If this is all new, call the hospital tomorrow to see if they have online videos to watch. Care of yourself after delivery, proper care & maintenance of baby 😉, Lamaze. If you are scared of being alone, let your nurse know. Bring your phone charger with the LONGGGG cord. Most plugs are behind equipment. Bring extra pillows as supply may dwindle as we get more patients. If your husband can come, pack clothes, toiletries & food for him that doesn't need to be refrigerated. He may not be able to leave the room. If it is that restricted, the hospital will probably feed him (but patient food isn't always the best tasting). You both may have to wear masks. You especially during pushing. I wish you the best possible experience. Think positive thoughts! PS - if you are doing well & baby is pooping, peeing & eating well, find out the soonest you can go home to your safe space.

Get Jackson the Preschool Prep Series Collection 10 DVD Boxed Set (Meet the Letters, Meet the Numbers, Meet the Shapes, Meet the Colors, etc) these are great. Start him watching for a short amount of time, then gradually increase time. My six grandchildren loved these and they learned so much. You can order them on Amazon for $39.95. I personally think they are worth twice that amount. I would prop the babies up on a bean bag in front of the TV and I was amazed how much they loved them. I hope this works for Jackson. Keep up the great work and stay safe.

Definitely get outside and breath in 10 deep breaths. It gets freash air in your lungs and oxygen in the blood stream. Go for some car rides and just see some different scenery. We ride by farms around us and see the Cows and beautiful barns. Drive through parks or by creeks etc. The vitamin D from the Sun will great great for you all too. It really helps mentally. 😀

Always love watching Jackson's interactions with you, and all the smiles! And the thumbnail on this is precious! You're not showing cooking dinner too much - love to watch that - spending any time with you is awesome, since I live alone! You can sit there and read the phone book, and I'll be happy!! Dinner looked delish, Jenn!! Very nice of our neighbors to leave you those sweet beans - never heard of them. Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey to both of you, Jackson, and Bandit. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!!

Jenn, I enjoyed the portion of you editing the video. You and Tim both do an amazing job filming content, but I don't think you ever truly get the recognition you deserve. I really appreciate all the time and effort you put into creating all the videos. My boyfriend is a film student in his last semester of school and his main focus has always been post-production editing so I know just how much work you do behind the scenes to make this channel happen! You guys are both wonderful, kind people - keep up the great work and keep your heads up through this difficult unpredictable time in our crazy world!

Hey Jen and Tim, just want to thank you guys so much for giving me something special to watch everyday. For our family today like you guys it was a bad day. , our 20 year old son finally broke down today. He really had a hard time holding back his frustration. We could see it on his face we could see it in his body language it just broke our hearts inside a couple hours later I lost it! We were having a grocery order come 2 days early. It wanted a freak me out it was just that I literally had already showered blow dried my hair got into some comfy clothes after being so stressed out earlier in the day. For our house this is what happens. I dress and clothes nice and snug I wear my hair back either a baseball hat or a hoodie mask glasses gloves shoes. I collect the groceries from the front porch then carry them around to the back porch where I have table set out I unload the groceries Lay Them All Out spray them with peroxide cuz it's all we have. Let them sit for a good 15 minutes in the sunshine turn them around spray them again with peroxide after that another 15 minutes I take the cold stuff into the garage I wash everything down dry it and then put it in the refrigerator I leave the fruit and things that are box or Baggs outside a little longer I wipe everything down again put all that stuff away clean off the tables then I go back to the garage strip off all my clothes run into the house take a shower wash my hair clean my body dry my hair and start all over again. You see my husband is Center both high-risk and I feel like it's only up to me to make sure they are safe. I'm carrying that weight around my shoulders it's so stressful. So seeing you guys so happy and so joyful makes my day. Thank you for all your hard work. And thank you for being part of our lives. Love Shelley

Around the 16:53 mark, it’s so cute how Jenn and Jackson look at the camera...then look at Tim like they’re listening intently...then smiling at the camera again...then they look so sweetly at Tim while he’s talking again. Once you notice how similar they look and act in those moments, it’s the cutest thing ever. It reminds me of those movies where father and son tilt their heads the same way or mother and daughter can make the exact same facial expression. You can tell Jackson is going to be so much like Jenn and Tim ☺️ Also I love how they try so hard to figure out what songs they’re singing when really they’re just singing different parts of the same song: Barry Manilow’s Copacabana . So funny 😆

Of course the reason behind all of us having to be stuck home is awful, BUT, to put a positive spin on it, what a wonderful time for you guys to *be* stuck at home, watching that precious little guy grow and change right before your eyes! Such a blessing. Also I absolutely love that Bandit..... What a great dog!! I get what you're doing re: the neighbors! lol! We don't have any (for real; very rural area. I look outside and see my flock of chickens :p ). Agree with setting at least a goal/list for each day, it helps just to keep things somewhat "normal" while none of us have our regular routine!

Love, love, love all homeblog vids ! Today I HAD to get groceries and one of my twin girls that have been confined for the past 2 weeks said she definitely needed to go to the grocery with me - voluntarily! I told her to wear a mask, and not touch anything and stay away from other shoppers. Good thing is that there were only maximum 4 people in the grocery store, but we still kept a safe distance. Want to thank you for sharing the slow cook apple dessert! That was scrumptious! My girls said it tasted like Christmas. We loved the spices that enhanced the flavor of the apple. Hubby said it tasted like a fancy dessert - and that made my day. Thanks!

Our two pups (Buzz and Pixie) used to lay butt to butt like that, the way Baby Bean is up against Jackson's head. Maybe it's a pack thing? Making up stories about the neighbors - yes! When my kids were young they were supposed to be cleaning our van but had been out there a verrry long time. I went to check on them and found out that they'd spent more time making up a back story for our neighbor who was out working on his yard. He was Canadian and very very nice but they decided he was a Canadian spy and the niceness was a front to cover all that he was up to in our neighborhood. It was elaborate and hilarious, they were 6, 8, 10, and 12.
