Hello there! No alix didnt leave. She just quit her position being a full time worker at tasty. Shes now only a part time worker at tasty so she comes sometimes around unlike rie, andrew and etc. Are full time. Hope this answers your question. ^-^

1. Spray the chicken with an oil spray first. 'Dry fry' is not the way to go. 2. Turn the tenders at half-time, also swapping the top pieces onto the base, and vice versa. 3. Test the chicken for temperature and moisture, and don't just cook by time (Tip: use an instant-read probe thermometer).

We love our air fryer! Yes, there is a learning curve, and it doesn't always make the best "fried" foods but we like the fact it makes some foods less fatty. Plus, I've found other recipes for the air fryer that are so delicious. Roasted baby carrots are my current fave!

This is the first actual review of an air fryer in comparison to an oven and deep fryer that l have seen. As l expected there's not that much difference with either. I loved the host. She made fun. But besides the health benefits, there is the fact they won't heat up your kitchen like an oven. And if you have an electric oven they use a lot of electricity, so you'll save on electricity. That's why l am considering one.

To improve the "taste" of the air fryer tenders, the recipe book that came with mine said to add olive oil to the Panko to give it the traditional flavor of fried food.

It’s a little hard to listen to this. She’s a little loud but I love how happy she is!

We have an air fryer at home and it actually works way better for french fries and stuff than the oven. Our Oven seems to make the fries soggy but when we use the air fryer they come out crispy and dry which is nice. The problem Alix ran into with her chicken tenders is that the element is right in the top of the oven and I'm pretty sure that baking rack she put in was placed upside down (she used the long handles as legs for the rack) so the one batch was way too close to the heating element and kinda shadowed the lower batch from the heat

I feel like this was the first honest review I’ve seen of the air fryer! Excellent.

Honestly my partner wanted one for ages. Finally got one. It's effing huge and I still chuck my kids nuggets and chips in the oven, 20 mins 200 degrees lol

I have the same air fryer. The food cooks faster then an oven. I love it because I don't have to use any sprays or oils to cook the food. Try cooking hot dogs in there. A lot of apartment complexes you can't have a grill on your patio. I feel the taste of hot dogs in the air fryer is way better then a grill

How much did you pay for it?

My mom bought me this one air fryer called the "Mr. Big Boss" and I loved it until the coil stopped working. The best thing I cooked in it was a whole cajun chicken . It was really good. The skin was crispy every time and it was dry either. I want another one

I've had a Ninja Air Fryer years and i can get my tenders SUPER crispy. There's more than enough room on the crisping plate do get at least 6 tenders! No need to layer. i use the rack for dehydrating. My fries always come out super crispy... the machine is only as good as how it's being used, and as good as who is using it.

I love this girl. She made my day!

Dylan Hornby Literally every comment says that, but if you look at her instagram post when she left, it clearly says “I made the big decision to hang up my apron at Tasty and embark on a new adventure” and that after 3 years she craves change and decided to move forward. That’s not simply switching to part time, she clearly quit.

This was such an entertaining review. Those chicken tenders when she pulled out the deep fry it was a no contest.

Alix in this episode with the fries was like an Instagram Teen trying to cook for the first time and then she transitioned to a mid 30s mother personality with the Chicken Tenders 😂

Finally, an honest and realistic review of air fryers rather than a marketing video that advertises how it's exactly the same as deep frying...

Clicked for Alix. Got Alix and Rie. I’m happy

In my experience, if you toast good panko in a dry pan with just a drizzle of oil and then oven bake whatever you're breading, you get that delicious deep-fried crunchiness without making your kitchen smell like a mcdonalds. It takes like, an extra 3 or 4 minutes and it's worth it imho. You don't necessarily need a gadget. (Thank JustOneCookbook for the tip)
