Ro is so amazing! I can always count on her to put a smile on my face!! I love you , Ro!
You tested newer versions of gadgets I inherited from my Grandmother. I have her cooky press from the 50s and a apple/peeler/corer from the 70s. I've only used the tree shape for cookies, and now I know that the "y" makes heart shaped cookies. Thank you, I had no clue!
I love how Ro is just like the treats that she creates, sweet and beloved by millions.
the cookie cutter seems very fun and easy to use!
That apple machine is my number 1 kitchen item for feeding kids. My kids love them and we make ‘apple nachos’ almost every night with the apple slices, some warm peanut butter drizzled over, and some slivered almonds and mini chocolate chips on top.
those drink dispenser gadgets are PERFECT for kids or people with arthritis or other issues with their hands/wrists who might struggle to lift and pour from a larger container! that could really help a lot of folks!
I like that whisk and one thing in its favor is the flat wire design. Might help you fit it in a drawer better with other utensils.
the measurements system of the dispenser and the measuring cup depends where the products came from though
@ashliejayde
Жыл бұрын
literally what i was going to say ! Metric measurements are global (apart from the two or three countries that use imperial) so you’re more likely to get metric measurements on a global company’s product
@thelibraryismyhappyplace1618
Жыл бұрын
@@ashliejayde 💯 The only countries that don't use metric are the US, Liberia and Myanmar. (Myanmar uses their traditional weights and measures system) Both Liberia and Myanmar have announced that they will be adopting metric soon.
@thelibraryismyhappyplace1618
Жыл бұрын
Also, if you know that a metric cup is 250mL and a US cup is 240mL (not sure why they didn't use 250mL), you don't actually need to have a separate cup measurement. Most measuring cups use a longer line at the ½ cup and cup gradations too.
@aSwedishGirl
Жыл бұрын
right? she's complaining ONE product has metric and that they could've made with cups (too) and I honestly had to take a brief break cuz when has the US ever done the reverse? ofc an american is complaining about metric. I love Ro, but damn.
@randomtology
Жыл бұрын
I mean in her defense, this was being sold on the US Amazon app and marketed to Americans, so I don't think it's unreasonable to want the standard US measurement system on there. If the reverse was done (a product that didn't have the metric system being sold to a country that uses the metric system) - the critique would be the exact same and would also be valid.
I'm honestly shocked you've never seen the apple core thing. My mom had one of those for like 30 years before it finally kicked the bucket last month. Makes making apple pie so much easier.

Yes! I’m floored that she has never used/seen one before! I don’t understand how that is even possible! And my mother’s apple peeler is over 30 years old and still working perfectly! I can’t even picture making an apple pie without it!

Yes! Came here to say this. I LOVE mine and use it for apple pies all the time.
The apple “cutter, slicer and peeler” in Australia we call those a slinky machine, they were and still are massively popular at the school canteen in primary school. Regular apple? Ew no. Slinky apple? Always yes. Did you really go to an Aussie public school if you didn’t have slinky apples? They are 10/10 more fun to eat than regular apples. I’m 23 now and I still love me a slinky apple. Trust me, it’s good for the soul.

She is literally beautiful, like a literal queen. She was my childhood, she kept me alive for years and years. Props to you, you raised half of the people here. Be proud!❤
Can we just talk about how amazing Ro’s personality is!💖

I agree, she’s like a ray of sunshine
As an Asian kid we have rice dispensers that can hold a whole 50 lb bag of rice. It usually has 3 buttons depending on the serving size too. I know Ro said it was huge but it looks tiny compared to my household lol
My aunt has an old school cookie press still and uses it every year! The tree and a star one with red and green dough. She calls them spritz cookies. They are soo good and nostalgic for me.
I love the apple peeler corner. But I just recently found that kitchen aid has one as a mixer attachment and so far it has worked amazingly!
First gadget - my family called it a ‘spritz’ press. Loved it! Swirl different coloured doughs together and the cookies are amazing.
I used to "demo" those Apple corer, slicer, peeler things at my mom's tupperware parties when I was a kid! OMG the memories! It was so funny when we tried to use it on a kiwi, didn't work, too soft, but so funny. Also, adjust the "cutter" part of it so the opening is smaller so it takes off less good apple
Ro is awesome! You never disappoint putting a smile on our faces! 😁😁
Loved all of these. The cookie press, ice cube tray, and pickle hourglass jar was so cool. You should do another with Justine!
Your voice is literally a smile! I always am uplifted watching you! ❤
Ro I LOVED all of these gadgets except the rice container. Thank you. What a bubbly sweet personality you have.
I've had a pickle/olive jar for over 30 years. I love it. Also the apple peeler corer slicer. As long as your apples are fresh and crisp it works like a charm, but if they're even the tiniest bit soft they just mush up
You and some friends should totally do a hot chocolate flavor guessing challenge! There are a lot of flavors out there!
I love the little ice cube thing its such a great idea to do lemon ice cubes! the cookie stamp is awesome too!!
I tested these gadgets and omg thank you so much for these recommendations Ro! Ive always been a big fan of yours ever since I was a child! Thank you again and happy holidays and merry Christmas to you and your family!
The apple spiralizer is so nostalgic for me. My middle school social studies teacher (shout out to Mr. Bock over 20 years ago) had one. It was the only class we were allowed to snack in. The only rule was our snacks had to be spiral. Apples were the most eaten but pears work well too!
I REMEMBER BEING A REALLY BIG FAN OF YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS WHEN I WAS YOUNGERRR- YOU WERE THE REASON I GREW UP LOVING COOKING AND FOOD 💜
I really loved the cookie press because you can be really creative by putting different plates and making the shape that you desire. 😊😊
Ro's calm intro is so therapeutic
I love the cookie press the best, can't wait till I buy one in any baking store or online to make multiple kinds of cookies for Christmas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awe i baked with my grandmother all the time. Her favorite desserts were apples so the apple corer, and peeler brought back so many wonderful memories of making apple pie, fritters, sauce, crumble, and cobbler
I absolutely love these kitchen gadget videos😊
I Love Testing the Highest Rated Kitchen Gadgets and thank you and Happy Holidays, Ro 🎄💙😍💕
Ro, you are so amazing! I love your videos so so so much! Please do more kitchen gadgets videos. It's my favourite.
I always look forward to Saturdays because I love watching Ro's videos :D
Maybe it’s just for the video, but very shocked Ro didn’t own a silicone baking mat until now, lol. It’s a bakers best friend!

I have one but haven't had luck with it. All the cookies spread a lot on it and burn, no matter the dough, and the same dough does fine on regular parchment paper.
Ro is and will always be one of my favorite KZreadrs 😭love your videos ❤🙏❤
The apple peeler, corer, slicer thing is amazing for making apple pie filling! Another thing I grew up with as a kid! Hubby and I got one as a kitchen aid attachment so even less work. ❤❤❤❤
I love when you test kitchen gadgets can you do it more
The cookie press though!! Mine’s an antique so it’s not as slick and precise as the one Ro used (you kind of gotta glob the cookies onto the tray and lift when it’s the height you want) but I love them! We really just use it at Christmas but it’s such a handy little thing. EDIT: the apple corer and peeler is such a godsend! It’s why I love making apple pie, it’s so easy! Mine is also vintage 😂 I work with old gadgets but I want some of these new ones!
Links for the items would have been helpful. How are we supposed to order them?

Omg I'm loving the apple machine and the space age pickle jar 😃😍
I love you and your videos so much, Ro! Thank you for all of this amazing content!
I bought the first gadget at a garage sale and I never understood what the plates were for. Now I'm going to try this.
OMG!!! im in australia and in primary school it was so popular to go to the canteen and get an apple slinky!! Using that machine, we all thought it was so cool back in the day 🥰🥰
I still have my grandma's apple corer peeler slicer. Those things are fun as all heck to use, even though it takes a bit of cranking
😂😂😂 the smiley face on the ice tray😂😂
You always make my Saturday! I always enjoy watching your videos

I think my old neighbors mom has one of the cookie presser and she makes one of the best christmas cookies and I believe she does this every year for the holidays 😍😋❤️
I’ve used the cookie press before for spritz cookies!
Those container spouts are genius. I have a rotator cuff tear plus I’m disabled. GENIUS!!!!
I want you to try baking a cake without looking at ingredients, that seems fun!

It really was!
I have the apple peeler/slicer/corer, the ice cube tray/container w/scoop, the cookie press, and the macaron mat! I don't have that rice dispenser, but I love the one I do have! It doesn't seal the top with rubber, either, but I've never had a problem with it, and I've had it for years. That fountain drink dispenser looks really neat, too. I love kitchen gadgets.
Love this video. These are some of my favorites to watch. That apple corer would be AWESOME for cutting apples for my kids.
Merry Christmas!! We love a Ro video! 🎄❤️😍
My mom has that same cookie press! She uses it to make her Christmas fudge into fancy star shapes!!
15:34 no worse feeling than expecting dill and getting sweet gherkin 😭😭🤣
The cookie presser was so cute 😊 I love your videos ❤
Wow, thanks for trying these gadgets! My mom loves baking and cooking so now I have a few more ideas for her Christmas presents! 😊
The rice one 😍 And no problem with the measurements because we use the metric system here in Norway 😊😛

Ro seems so nice to be friends with . Ro if you see this tell your friend they are lucy to have you!! All Love!! ❤♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
i love ur products review videos a lot , especially the ones u use to make with ijustine
Ro you are incredible, I love your videos. The different designs you can make with the cookie press are so amazing and adorable. The macaron mat is so helpful, I've seen people using that on lots of baking shows on TV. The apple core slicer is so cool, I love the apple spirals, so cute.
Omg when she said "OH THEY'RE SWEET" it just made my day so better, and i became much happier😆😆😆
The Apple peeler works with fresh pears too . I used to use one just like that one 35 years ago they have been around for awhile or the pears and honey crisp apples. The metal ones are better than the plastic ones.
Brilliant idea to make lemon juice ice cubes!
watching this video at 2am is like one of those programs on tv that sell and has a live infomercial
Everything was a win 😂😂 I loved the 1st one
Yesss i love these videos
I love all your amazing food products
All of thought are super cool! I love the ice cube tray! Love you Ro❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I grew up with those cookie cutters my aunt has one when she makes her yummy Christmas cookies each year 😋. My mom used to own when I was little now my sister got one and she tried to make my aunts Christmas cookies ❤
links to the items so I can immediately buy them would have been lovely
Loved the video ❤
Kitchen products are so useful and impressive
My family also had a cookie press but I don't know what happened to it. Maybe got lost in a yard sale (lost a lot of good bu non-essential items to yard sales over the years). We also had an apple peel/corer but didn't have the suction cup so dad attached it to it's own wooden base to be more sturdy. Most of the time we used it for homemade curly fries!
I'm going to go add almost all of these to my amazon wishlist and tick them off one by one as I have the $. My favorite would have to be the rice dispenser, I have issues with bags of rice "specifically the basmati rice bags" where you go to open with the zip lock for the first time and it tears down the sides making the zip locking seal pointless, and I end up with rice spilled in my pantry. Maybe I'm just super clumsy, but this sounds like an amazing gadget!
Ooo I've been wanting one of those pickle jars and now I also want a galaxy whisk lol
My favorite was the ice tray
Okay I need that cookie presser!
