Mod dev here, Thanks for the video, a few things that are in the works. The Collison on vecti is being fixed as it is really janky(low key forgot), rail gun dmg is gonna get increased a bit and hopefully gonna fix the hit reg (it works perfect in the kit but in game its really weird). and its AI just being really weird sometimes. The icon is inspired by the Donkey meme. Cosmetic roar is on Q. Also idk what that electric particle is, gonna have to take a look

I prefer watching you search for creatures, primarily if some eventful stuff happens while you search.

I like the little bit of searching and then cutting to finding it after awhile. To me, part of the ark experience is the creature searching and getting distracted, attacked, lost, thinking you’ve found the creature and realizing it’s not it, etc etc so it feels perfectly natural to have that included in the videos

In case Syntac doesn't find out in the episode, no you can't use the railgun to knock out creatures other then the Vecti

10:09 I personally love watching the whole thing, of course the action is fun and what most are looking for. But the suspense of what you are looking for the day, anything bad/good can happen in between any of it. I find it entertaining for the whole thing.

Definitely like to watch the search, especially when you come across giant groups of creatures. You've been doing this for years and always seem to give us the perfect amount of searching! Thanks syn!❤

Some tips I have for the Vectispinus are: 1) They share the same spawn locations as the Spino so you'll only find them in spots that Spinos like to spawn. 2) Unlike the Spino, the Vectnispinus don't really sit on the surface of the water when they're swimming in the wild. They'll commonly be fully submerged at decent depths. 3) They do have the ability to quickly turn in place by biting, but they can only do a quick 90 degree turn instead of a 180 like the Sarco and Deinosuchus. 4) They can do their quick turn bite, water breath, and artillery shots while swimming, but they have to be swimming on the surface of the water to do that stuff. Otherwise they can't do it. Also I have no clue if you've already downloaded and/or used the mod, but a mod that I recommend installing is the ARKomatic mod. It's a very convenient mod with some really cool and useful structures such as the ARKomatic Poop Collector which automatically collects nearby poop in its range and rapidly converts it into fertilizer if it has thatch(basically a sped up and automated compost bin that is more expensive and requires power to operate) and the ARKomatic Terrarium which is essentially a much more expensive crop plot that requires power to operate, but it can automatically pull fertilizer from the ARKomatic Poop Collector when needed, produces crops at a faster rate, makes multiple stacks of the same crop instead of just a max of 1 stack, and I believe it doesn't require water(I can't confirm the water part though). The mod also adds in even more structures, but the best one, imo due to the convenience, is the ARKomatic Composite Crafter which essentially acts as both a Chemistry Bench and a Fabricator(only for the composites though) and it crafts Polymer and Electronics at a faster rate and in bulk just like how the Chemistry Bench does for stuff and it actually makes it worthwhile to make a penguin farm since it can convert Organic Polymer into normal Polymer.

I like watching you search for the new/modded dinos! Sometimes it feels like it drags on, but I enjoy the search overall!

I mean, there's being an actual spinosaur, and then being a "spinosaurid," which just the relation of. Such as bary and vecti. I always thought it was interesting how the others are effectively named after the one, like with spinosaur. Then you have ones like "ceratopsian," where it's like familial thing.

I don't mind watching the process leading up to the testing. Sometimes it can drag on if it's an annoying tame or if the creature is hard to find, but at the same time in episodes where the tame only takes a few moments like the anomalocaris and the pyromane it becomes twenty minutes of just running around on the creature. I like it when there's a nice blend

honestly i just enjoy all your videos i'd love longer ones showing building/crafting/searching. it doesnt always have to be a jump into action. its enjoyable no matter what you do 👍

Always loved the tames you can get in this game where the saddles etc. are enhanced by industrial level stuff, such as the Andrewsarchus and Tropeognathus. This looks like a cool addition to that group! Not super advanced tek-level lasers, just a bunch of relatively modern technology slapped onto a prehistoric creature! Loved the video, btw, as always. :)

For the storage issues, I personally love the Visual Storage mod. It satisfies my OCD in a way that very few other mods can. I've made it a staple on every server I run.

Many animals will do it actually! Because fun fact, the loafing is a tactical thing, they do it because the curled up shape conserves heat, so particularly arctic animals do it all the time.

i think the whole saddle system needs an overhaul. a "saddle base" of some sort and you can upgrade it with modules. starts primitive and gets up to tek. and on some creatures, the tek adds extra abilities, but those have to be unlocked by bosses, similar to how it is now with tek saddles.

Hi Syntac, Incase you did not know, in the bottom right corner of the map you can get loads of metal, obsideon, crystal and oil in de deepest point of the ocean. Its really insane. Makes the grind for resources easier! Nice vid btw

I prefer a little bit of the search, just to listen to banter and see the beautiful map, but cutting to the tame after a little while is nice.

Keep the searching for creatures footage in but add a time stamp somewhere to when you find one.

I have this mod and I have found them near any source of water. Even on the “easy” started islands. Easiest way to spot them is when they are fighting something and you see the breath going. Also if you need a name for the spider, please name it Lucas after the adorable little spider.
