Bedankt Roy, prachtige en eerljke presentatie. Dat is waarvoor I love you en je een duimpje omhoog krijgt, Ik vond deze ESC24 editie heel moeilijk en daar hing zoveel omheen. Before the party is over, misgien had Mustii wel door moeten gaan. Zijn song raakte de core wat er dit seizoen is gebeurd. Er zijn heel veel mensen die willen dat dit ESC circus stopt omdat ze hun doelen voorbij geschoten hebben in de loop der tijd. Mijn innige wens is Lugano 2025 and with a New Beginning , eind bißchen Frieden, making our Minds up Love Shines a Light!! Bedankt voor jouw mooie bijdrages. Goede zomer. Fijne tijd untill we will meet again. Groet uit Nieuwendam.

Great recap Roy ❤ Was lovely to see your interactions with other ESC content creators in their own videos. It was like watching a big family just having a good time. There were SO many good songs this year. We are beyond proud of Bambie in Ireland. Great result in 6th place. 6th in the jury vote, 6th in the televote and 666,000 viewers for the GF on our national broadcaster RTE. I can't wait to see Bambie live in Dublin on Halloween night. Got my tickets as soon as they went on sale on Tuesday. Thanks again for all of your ESC content this year ❤

Great recap! I think what elevated Teresa & Maria was the visuals to be honest. The use of the LEDs and the ramp were phenomenal. Both Alyona & Jerry knew how to effectively work the camera. There wasn't a single shot that felt like it was missing something. (My personal favorite was the shot before the rap where you see Alyona take her mic out of her hairbun.)

it was unspeakably brilliant, and out of the Post-Shum entries by far the best. Unofrtunately, this is the third year in a row now where the songwriters are 100% working the emotional manipulation angle. The whole world knows what it going on, and the continued crimes against humanity of the Russians... absolutely a contender for worst war crimes since WW2. But I strongly dislike someone using my emotional investment as a way to win a contest. Enough with 2 years of sympathy televoting.. DONATE THAT MONEY to something that would actually help a real-live person in Ukraine.

Delighted you are back after a long absence. I appreciate the way the EBU handled Joost/Netherlands was shameful and let us hope the resolution will come soon with positive changes. Yes, logistics take careful advance-planning in terms of Friends-Reactions vids...maybe stragetize a structure for reduced editing time? Starting earlier in the calendar? I wish you ahd reached out to your viewers for help earlier...I had spare time which I would have given gladly, I'm sure otehrs would too...just ask!

I'm happy as a Spaniard cause the public finally got a say in the final results in Benidorm instead of being played by the jury, and such a campy song coming out of a pretty lukewarm Benidorm Fest was enough for me and many other people. We knew the song could very well be last place but we didn't give a f bout Europe the entire time lol.

Good to see you back! I was waiting on part 2 of your friends reaction, but if it's too much work, it's too much, totally understandable. I'm kinda glad the season is over. Still enjoying some of the songs, but overall it was cursed and I don't want to think about next year and what's coming. Hope you'll find some peace! Hope you'll find a good solution for your channel next year, but I'll be watching nevertheless!

The Fact the Croatian Jury gave just ZERO point to Switzerland and the Croatian televote just 1 to Switzerland while on the other hand the Swiss Jury gave 8 points to Croatia and the Swiss Televote 10 points to Croatia is just called, in the end, Fair-Play Karma.

I already forgot about the whole mess with Israel. Whoever disrespects other participants should be removed, as well as audiences who boo artists on stage because they disrespect the competition and should not be welcomed back (yes, that goes for the Israeli delegation and also for Bambi, Joost and Loreen). That being said, Baby Lasagna was by far the best-pure good vibes, great music and no politics.

Booing is a form of disapproval of someone or something. You cannot punish someone for showing their disapproval. This isn’t a dictatorship it’s Eurovision (a contest for friendship and _peace_ ).

  • @Mloofylicious

@@---..---.. "booing" isn't peace. The only people who can get away with creating such a mess are spoiled little children who will ruin your day if they don't get an ice cream, and exactly the one they want. You're an adult and you should know better. You don't like Golan? Stay at home or switch the channel. You almost get the impression that the audience was forced to stay in the arena. Which they were not. And it was a dictatorship, of activists and toxic fan media.

I’m afraid your argument isn’t valid. Booing is a form of expression and you cannot censor that. I never said that booing is representing peace - it’s representing democracy and freedom of expression. You don’t have to agree with it but you have to accept it. I also believe no one was booing because of the singer but the message she is representing.

@@---..---.. Let me put it this way. You get a once-in-lifetime chance to present your music to hundreds of millions of people, you work hard for it with stylists, vocal coaches, staging designers, press and trying to pull it off as good as possible. And you're not supposed to be traumatised when you get humiliated by masses who don't have anything against you but your government? That makes absolutely no sense because it's not Netanyahu who was standing on that stage but a girl who had to stay in an undisclosed location to avoid getting into a life-threatening situation because of people with opinions like yours. That's not democracy but lunacy. As it turns out, Zelensky also supports Israel now but that didn't trigger anyone to boo Ukrainians in Malmö. Hypocrites.

This isn’t what our discussion is about. She is, undeniably, representing the country that she is singing for at Eurovision. She is a direct proxy and has been used to propagate one side of a conflict. She publicly said so. If people want to boo the representative of a country, it is their choice to do so. Since Europe is a continent prominently known for its understanding of democracy, people are not only allowed to do so, they have a right to express themselves in this fashion.

For the third year already, the jury has ruined the Eurosong, every year there are fewer and fewer participating countries, the one the people want does not win, everything seems rigged, this year's winner Nemo is as irritating as his song, and he is on the throne thanks to the jury, while he is only fifth among the audience, a shame ...😮

when you willingly let yourself be massively manipulated as a propaganda tool (and those lyrics didnt fool ANYOJNE we all knew exactly what it was referring to. At least Jamala in 2016 had a 72 year old story she was telling), you open yourself up to such reaction. I remember feeling sad for Polina in 2015 being booed, but now seeing the mindless drone and pro-Putin shil lshe is, Im perfectly fine with it after the fact. Frankly if the exetnded provacative behavior of her delegation hadnt become so widely known, and then overlooked while crucifying Joost - of COURSE anything tied to Israel was gonna get hate. I mean the reason she was their in the first place was the ISR president intervened personally to get the situation manipulated enough to allow them to then put on their big propaganda show on a massive worldwide stage.
