PLEASE READ: Tuff reached out and gave me this Helium G3 wheels (website link in the description). The pair that I have on here is with a 50MM (front) and 60MM (rear) depth which is not available on their website yet. As mentioned, the colour of the decals are customisable. These wheelset weighs 1,380g as compared to my ENVE SES 5.6 with CK R45 which comes in at 1,700g. The hubs on this Tuff wheels are the Tuff G3 hubs on a star ratchet system with ceramic bearings. First thing I've noticed when I've mounted the wheels is that it somewhat 'struggles' to freewheel - when I'm pushing my bike the hub is engaged and my pedals start rotating and not freewheeling. Maybe I've not broken into the hubs yet? The hubs are extremely loud if you can't tell from the video to the point that it feels BONE DRY. I was advised to add some grease into the hubs but for the purpose of the review I will not be doing so and testing it as is. Pro's against my ENVE's: 1) weight 2) carbon spokes 3) hubs are less complicated than the CK's 5) external spoke nipples making it easier to service but compromise on looks and 'aero-ness' 4) PRICE Update: did a 70k ride and these wheels doesn’t hold speeds above 40kph well. But it picks up speed much quicker and feels more nimble because of the weight as compared to the ENVE’s.

Good luck adjusting the tension on the rear CK Hub when you put it back on again. It took me quite awhile to get the smoothness of the spinning tension. That is the preload adjustment which I hate dealing with, else your spinning will not be smooth if adjust too tightly

    I don’t think it’ll be that problematic

@oompa When you loosen/tighten that silver 2.5mm bolt to spin the clamp off, don't use the round end on the hex tool. The round head is too small so it just spins inside but doesn't actually loosen the bolt. It looks like it didn't loosen the clamp when you were trying to undo it since there isn't a gap in the close up shot. You'll need to do the same to get the right preload, but use the normal side of the tool. There's instructions on the CK support site under R45 Addendum to get the correct preload when installing it back.

@@OompaLoompaCycling It's also expected practice to not use the ball-end for final tightening unless the torque spec is very low (like 1 Nm or lower). Doing otherwise is asking for trouble by rounding out hex interfaces.
