I SURVIVED THE FIRST WEEK | reflections and adjustments | 4th grade teacher vlog
I survived the first week of school! It wasn't an easy one but it was fun and we lived to tell the story! There were a lot of loose ends going into the first week of school that I just did not have to time to finish. There were also some adjustments I needed to make based off of things I noticed the first week of school. It's so crazy to know that we are back into the full swing of teaching!

First , you are doing a wonderful job on your classroom.
I feel you on feeling unsettled. I have been over planning and having to shift lessons to other days. I did my first science lab with my freshman last week. At first I was getting frustrated with them, then I realized they had never used this equipment before. 🤦🏾♀️Just do what you can and do not beat yourself up.

I'm working from home but I have to organize the F@Ps that I did on Friday and set up a testing schedule for this week. There's never enough time in the day, week, or year. Lol. I've learned that as a teacher our to do list is never ending so we just have to do the best that we can. Have a great week! Your classroom looks fabulous!

I'm about 70% done also and I do not have desks or tables yet?! Needless to say, it's a little stressful at this point. I'm pushing through with other things like bulletin boards and planning. :) I'm also working to get a you tube channel going! Keep at it your room looks great to me!
