Thank youuuu!! I studied neurobiology, global health, and French in college; and the journey to being a doctor is tough regardless of the specialty. But it's POSSIBLE!

I am also in medical field but in another area! 😊 Congratulations! ✨🎉 I actually just ended a study group like roughly 3 1/2 hours 🫣 (everyone is helping each other to stay awake) who are prepping for the boards too, it's my way to forward my blessing and I'm so grateful for that group/close to becoming a family to me.

Which hospital has an emergency psychiatry service??? I'm interested in PES

Most hospitals have it in some capacity! Some hospitals have a stand alone psychiatry emergency department. In other hospitals, patients with psychiatric complaints go to the usual emergency department then a consult is placed for the psychiatrist to come see the patient. At my currently job, it’s the latter. While in residency, we had a mixed model

i have so many questions… if you don’t mind … this is my dream jobbbb omgggggg age? what’s the salary in your state and what state ? how many years of school did you do?

👋🏾 I’m glad you found the channel! I’m in my 30s and work between PA and NJ. Psychiatrist salaries range from $200k to $310k in these areas. Can be more or less. And in total, I did 13 years of school 🥲 it’s long, but I’m at the point where I’m finally feel it was worth it!

​@@DrAtashaJordanyes ma'am but some docs l, like dr manik madan, a psychiatrist resident.. he's saying that they'll earn 500-600k with 7 days work and 7 days off.. ma'am is it true.. he even showed proof
