I found a kid on animal life in roblox, they joined my rp server and poor child couldnt respond 😭 so i used my name box to chat and they responded back with there name box! It was probably wholesome for them because they could talk!

Dude my mom put parental controls on my device (I was secretly watching her cuz I thought she was gonna do something dumb like that) and tried to play skywars, it didn't let me so I checked my settings and put in the "weird numbers" my mom typed. It worked and I'm super glad 😄

It would be nice if they added only some sentences you can say to communicate if ur on parental control, since it’s a socializing game and for others to see your chat but some chats would be censored from others due to the parental control.it’s still important for a kid to learn how to communicate

I can’t imagine not being able to join age restricted games. I already get bored on roblox sometimes so if I had a limited amount of games to play, I would probably just quit.

I literally suffered the same issue as his before ages in games existed (like +9 and +13 and any age update) and like he said,you can’t do ANYTHING, when I thought it’s better now, I saw THAT IT DOESNT LET 9+ GAMES, so it’s technically the same as before, unless the parent allows you to chat or use +9 games

The fact that you actually played Restoraunt Tycoon 2 (aka my most fav tycoon game) IS ACTUALLY THE COOLEST PART I'VE SEEN

There is this game called sensory room, in that game there is a community board for people who can’t chat, where you can click buttons and they would light up, some of the buttons are “Yes” and “No” and “Please”, making a great way to make friends without chatting.

now i realize how chill my parents are, got my first ipad at 2, phone at 3, never have gotten parental controls, got another phone at 9, my devices have only been checked like 5 times in all these years.. ect

once my account got hacked and i still had access to my account since the person wasn’t able to change my email. problem was that they turned parental controls on and somehow made it so i cant turn it off. i had it on for a week till i had enough and messaged support. then i had to wait a few days till it was turned off.

I actually hate that chat feature. Isn't the current filter "good" enough? Don't just zip your child's mouth. That's what causes innapropriate behaviour and uh, crimes later on in life. Children need to socialise to earn good morals

it feels so great to play the games after a long time of parental control

as a person who grew up with the parental controls, it was great. over 5 years of me being restricted of almost everything :)

As someone that doesn't use Roblox, I see this as a absolute win.

aha, I had parental controls when I was 5. I'd always make friends. If you're planning to do this again, I recommend playing more role-play games or hangout games, and jump in-front of someone, if they jump back at you, start hanging out! hope this helps. :)

As someone who played as a guest a lot when they were available (not parental controls but basically the same thing) this brings back a lot of pain and nostalgia

If you're an Xbox player, you are literally forced to have no chat and there isn't even a way to enable it. But the good thing is parental controls don't exist on Xbox!

For people who have parental controls, 3008 is a good (kind of) horror game, sound space is for people who like rythm games :) its similar to beat saber thingy

Tip for if you do it again: go in any game you can and friend anyone (best if in adopt me)if they accept tell them that you have parent control and can't see/type in chat and ask if they have any game suggestions that you can play with them in

I never had parental controls, i just never talked- because it was like 2016 when i began playing. I legit was a guest and walked around everywhere and roleplayed by myself.

they should let parental controls get better, like instead of making you not being able to chat, it will only make censor bad words, and wouldnt let you play only 10% of the games that are on roblox, instead, it will block horror games, and dating games. (i dont play roblox)

This is basically being a guest, and if you do this again try tower heroes, it’s hella fun and you barely need any communication. But they recently had a doors crossover, so that MIGHT make it a 9+ game.

5:55 Man it has been a long time since I played Adopt Me. There weren't any jobs back then. You could only earn money from paychecks or looking after your kid or pet.

The fact that DOORS is not age restricted although containing loud sounds and jumpscares scares me somehow

I survived on the no-chat and no 13+ game feature for 2 months (This happened when I was 9) and now it finally removed (eventually I figured out how to remove it and my parents forgot bout that)

I remember my irl friend had these for a while and thankfully that friend no longer has parental controls

I survived a whole YEAR with that. I was triggered for that whole time.

I had it for one day, (like you) and spent it learning basic hacking and got it back. I wouldn’t be able to play MM2 and Admin owner, my favorite games ever again.

i remember back in 2016 where i would play as a guest, also unable to chat lmao i was js jumping around thinking they would understand me

i am so thankful for my parents not going deeper into the parental controls thing

I think there IS a way you can emote. You know that thing on the right corner of your screen with the three dots when you’re in the game. There’s an emote selection thing.

My little sister had it on (btw only the chat thing) but we always play together so I can tell others what she’s saying. So if you’re going to do it again maybe do it with a friend you know in real life. But when I wasn’t playing with her, she liked to play, fling things and people. It’s a fun game you should try it.

As a kid who’s parents turned off chat settings and forgot the settings pin, I can confirm roblox without chatting is absolute hell.

@@AintNoobieAhem To clear up something in 6:48 (The person who owns the house is me :D) We werent roleplaying they were buying pets from me I didnt even realize you were there XD And the other people were asking to work for me (since others were working for me) And yes i dont know those people and arent friends with them so we arent roleplaying

I ended up surviving like a year with no chat😂 when I clicked something which caused it to where the Roblox symbol you use to leave was covered. Fortunately I was playing on computer and knew how to leave using keys

Not only did he survive. He found a good rp game as well

man i remember that while playing tds on badlands i was laggy and the keyboard didnt load so i dont talk in whole match so when like wave 35 one of my team say "why this dude is not placing something?" (bc again, i was in a laggy moment and i have placement delay) so other dude say "because he dont know what is doing" and out third teammate say "probably is a kid whit parental controls" so when i finally the lag gone i say "bro what? i just have a lag issue 😭" so the dud that say that i was a kid say "bro i think that you are a lil kid whit chat dissabled😭💀" and then we lost due a bad commander chain coa 😭

Ever since I joined Roblox, I've had to deal with this for a while. No chatting for a whole year wasn't fun, but I still managed to have great fun on Roblox. But anyways I convinced my parents to get the chat back on as I need to learn how to socialize!

I had to use parental controls for 365*2 times longer than you becuase my former "parents" thought parental contols would make the game much more fun, im glad i left the house and moved before it got out of hand. edit: 365*2 = 2 years.

A few months ago my mom turned off my chats because she read a Facebook article about it being a problem. That year without chat was hell on earth.
