I think the BEST place for a base is on a tall mountain, pour lava and it will cover an entire mountain preventing zombies from doing anything. Also, you can use marker "torches" to mark the area quarry will dig, which can really help and you don't need to move quarry. AND if you are insane, you can use a liquid from a broken reactor to destroy anything including yourself.

Tip: you can use comparators to measure the heat in redstone so the reactor automatically shuts off before it overheats

This one particular series can go all the way to 200 or so because of how much space you have for upgrades, challenges, disasters and zombie variants. This is like dwarf fortress in minecraft and I love it

I know this is late but i dont think he'll continue this considering the fact that his base is pretty much doomed because of the two volcanoes, relocating would be pretty much impossible due to the amount of stuff he has as well how strong the zombies are already

Idea: split the power from the reactor into stuff that work similar to breakers, with levers to shut off different parts, like outer defenses or refineries. Then you can have a central control room, send all power to defenses in blood moons, shut down more expensive turrets if it’s not a blood moon, that sorta thing

Im happy to see that someone else is playing with the same old mods like me. The modular turret mod is really cool. And the quarry from BC Factory is awesome. Fun fact: I just played with a mod pack with almost the same mods just yesterday. The BC mods are super old and mostly only work on 1.7.10, but still its awesome ! All in all a pretty cool video !

You have a metro station under a huge city. The city has all the essential materials, but it is also infested with monsters.)

The metro station one gives me creepy vibes. But maybe like trains will randomly come and go, and you can take the trains to go to different metro places, with varying amounts of loot. But it would be dangerous as you wouldn't be able to know which train goes where, so you might end up getting lost forever.

In that modpack, they act like soil fertilisers AND bonemeals, they can fertilise a soil without a water block and provide bonemeal on the crop, they're awesome.

By default, you can use your flux ducts to power your quarry from buildcraft assuming youre in 1.12 as forge has added compatibility layers that basically combine all those different power systems into one overarching RF system. This is all assuming you didnt mess with the configs of the tech mods that much that is. Edit: 'Phytogenic insulator' from thermal can grow just about everything with just water and power

I would love to see 200 days. But I wonder, if 200 days happens, do the zombies reset back to how they were on day 1, would they continue getting stronger, or just stay the way they are on 100? It would be interesting to see how you would rebuild your base under constant assault from TNT zombies.

One tip against thezomie AI in the first days is using wood fences and stone fence as colums, they don't mix to do the fences, but mobs don't go trough it, so you can easily run trough and hot them trough them easily, and try making floors of lower slabs so no spawns and they get confused jumping over them

Something that might help your lag issue is look into large capacity flash drives for added virtual memory. Of course, I also recommend doing some research on this in case it isn't best for you. Aside from that, Very nice 100 Days. I'm eager to watch more.

YES FINALLY ANOTHER 100 DAYS SERIES! Idea:I spent 100 days in a radioactive/virus infected world as a virus handler or someone who makes vaccines etc, and there should 100% be zombies and evolutions.Awesome vids btw!

A quick tip for Pams. I'm not even sure if you'll ever read this. If you shift and left click the Pam's bushes, you can pick up the entire bush to break later. You can also place the bush and wait several ingame days for extra bushes to grow around it, a bit like Mushrooms.

You should combine a the mods into one and do 100 Days: Year Of Pain

I’m sure something like this has been said before, but I would love to watch a 100 days with a focus on farming, maybe with the weather and thirsty/water mods as well and just surviving a year or something similar.

One of the mods is BC Factory, for the quarry. The turret mod is called Open Modular Turrets. But keep in mind, some of the mods only work on 1.7.10. Pretty old but still works
