I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where KZread started and this song played. My mother is very sick, she is on dialysis every other day for four to five hours and has been on dialysis for 7 years now she is 65, she's got polycystic kidney disease, they took out both kidneys dialysis the only thing that is keeping her alive but at the same time it is KILLING HER damaging her organs and everything else as time has gone bye,my father is very depressed, bipolar, schizophrenia and refuses to take meds.my brother is a full blown alcoholic/drug addict who has stole manipulated cheated and lied for money from everyone in his family including myself!!! Bcuz I changed my life and started worshipping and praying not just for myself,but for other's,my loves one's,the people who hurt me!!!! Bcuz of change and got sober,the people who I thought were my friends were just acquaintances people I did drugs with and once I quit doing drugs those people was no longer around!!! I tried to get a few of the ones that I was close with I thought to walk in the path with me!!! So now 3 yrs later I'm alone 24/7 taken care of my kids,no help,no one to even watch them to go shopping, doctor's app.reall sh!t even to take a shower if I don't fall asleep with them when I get them down for naps/bedtime!!! We don't have a room I sleep on a queen mattress sideways between both my toddler's!!! I get kicked all night lol 🤣🤣,life is funny,life can be hard but use the gifts God's giving you,worship & keep your Faith & ur life will start becoming easier!!! The greatest love letter and the secret to life is the (Bible) simply follow basic instructions...I pray that things get better,I pray that you even get to read this,and I pray that God helps us & everyone going threw struggles to cross paths with someone to teach them of God's way,I pray we get to know him on a much higher level and bless & pray for the next struggling person!!! I pray we teach our kids & reach this generation!!! KEEP YOUR HEAD UP STAY STRONG, WE'VE KNOWN IT ALL ALONG WITH GOD ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE AND WITH GOD OUR HEART'S BECOME MORE PURE!!!! My wife passed away 6 years ago after giving birth to our daughter. Every night, I read to her while she stares deeply into my eyes and listens intensely. I know that it probably isn't common to relate this song to a father-daughter relationship, but this song makes me miss my wife so much more. It also makes me love and cherish my daughter so, so much. I know that she won't be like this forever, and daddy won't always be her favorite person, and she will eventually get older -- but right now I'm happy, just spending time, passing it by in her arms.

I grew up in the streets, the streets raised me and made me a gangster, I was a blood, I sold dope. Been in shoot outs, fights, in and out of jail since age 17, I robbed people and got robbed. I was a drunkard, fornicator, I use to club and pop pills, but i had a encounter with JESUS while in jail facing 5-10 years.. and JESUS made me over again at age 23.. 8yrs later hallelujah I'm still free and born again, JESUS a mighty deliverer bless his Holy name

I surrendered and turned my love over to Christ and haven’t looked back. 9/25/2014. My church plays Hillsong and their Gateway music weekly. I feel so connected to Hillsong church and worship because it played a huge role in my life transformation.

I fully echo that. It was another Hillsong song for me. The Blessing, I was sitting in church in physical pain, depressed and so exhausted with life not knowing my purpose and who I was and I heard that song and I was in floods of tears by the end and I know that moment 29/5/22 was when I accepted the Lord Christ as my saviour and I’m getting baptised in the sea soon. Indeed ‘Lord have Your way in me’ 🙏🏻💗

@kitty ginger I think give it to the Lord means put your burdens on him. Tell him and pray that you cannot do anything without Him. Ask him to help you as you surrender to Him giving him authority over your life.

we are at the well

14 years ago I was adopted into a family who cares about me and takes care of me. I started out life in one of the worst ways possible. Both of my parents were drug addicts and drug sellers, my siblings were getting into trouble with the police, and I was born with 2 of the worst drugs possible in my system. As a baby I had to go through withdrawls which even adults struggle with. My mom would say at times she could not get me to stop crying. Many years pass, and my friends find out, middle school starts and I am a target, I got into fights, I started failing classes, and finally one of my teachers pulled me aside and asked me what was going on. I didnt want to tell her because I was scared, I didnt want to be a snitch, so I told her it was nothing and I would try to do better. The next day I was put in ISS. She pulled me aside again and invited me to church, me of all people. A kid who got into fights every day, a kid who came from a drug family, and felt like she was destined to be one too. My family went and so I went too, this was the first song that I heard there and it touched me, it was also the song 3 months later that was playing when I gave my life to Jesus. But that isn't all...move forward a few months, and I move to a new school.. and my best friend of 13 years breaks me, I am all ready devistated by leaving behind people I knew all my life, questions about my family come up, my boyfriend breaks up with me and I begin to think, is it worth living, everything is going wrong...and right as I think that my dad is turning on the radio going home and this song comes on...I go to counseling...Freshman year begins and I meet two seniors that help me realize that it is okay to be upset but not to let it get to me....I get on varsity relays in track, I have the best year of my life and now we are here, I am a sophomore drum major for our band and working on getting to where i can graduate with my associates...This song helped change my life and so did God, my life was saved and I know that I can surrender everything to him and let him carry me knowing he will never drop me or leave me behind.

Year 2024,16 yrs, here in Kenya. It's not been easy finding myself😢 but Jesus Christ held me tight and led me to his light.

I believe everyone has a song that they listen to and it hits you down in your heart, makes you go down on your kneels and thank God for the life you have now. I have a short testimony I tell everyone. I lost my wife at 38 and I also lost my Job. I saw my life turning around for the best when I met Lyra holt Dean at a church service in New York (google her name) and ask your questions and pray because its GOD doing. Amen John 14:16 God said he is going to send you a helper that will be with you forever.

Try Forgiving your enemies. Try to draw near to God YHWH and He will draw near to you. Try reading your Bible and practice what you learn from it. NB : Surrender your life to God YHWH.

Lost in all the digital content that Hillsong produces maybe? Or, a contract dispute because this wasn't long after her first hit album on Billboard's Christian chart. When you watch her performances on American Idol you can see that her heart isn't really in what she's singing even though she is obviously talented. Lauren delights herself in the Lord, that's for sure.

Her cornerstone is not Christ. Who does she worship? Why is she here if it's not to repent. The music is beautiful because it talks about our Jesus and Lord. But don't be fooled by her.

I am almost in my late 60s, an oldie for those I see in the video, but this song never fails to ignite my soul into worship and wish I am in the same crowd enjoying God’s presence with them.

I’m suffering from severe depression where I can’t get up from bed on most days I feel lost and alone and the current situations in my life has not made it any better but I know Christ is here with me and I know I shouldn’t feel discouraged but some days its really hard not to feel this way I need support and prayers because i’m desperate to feel peace and the presence of our Lord
