MSA's lesson from this story is that money can't buy people their happiness but Contentment fulfills happiness, but also, wealth cannot make someone complete as she has no mom to take care of her (most likely because she abandoned her) when her dad is not around because of his work. contentment and family are what make people complete.

The last sense made me almost cry

Poor Marry, She had been going through a sickness for God knows how long and I feel bad that she didn’t tell her mother about it. She wasn’t healing so good until she met Freya.
