Not really because Pochettino has had 33 league games to implement this so called " top form Chels" and waited till May as Lewis said if we could have played like that from the get go we would have won the carabao cup and possibly in the F.A cup final. The best era of this club ( Abrahamovic era ) was filled with a lot of sackings which made this club successful. it's not about rotation its about winning, our football club is known for picking up trophies even if league wise we're poor

Literally. It's not lowering standards when last season we was 12th now we finish 6th. Thats improvement after all the circumstances we went through this season. I know 6th is not where I want my chelsea to be but its an improvement worth recognising considering everything thats happened.

You can clearly see the new owners have embraced project youth. As much as I am not a fan of it u can't get rid of the owners. Guardiola took time at city and then used a blank check book to buy an entire new defence. Arteta took 2 full seasons to get 5th. All these managers have shown the benefit of sticking by a manager and giving him time. We can't keep firing and hiring managers every year hoping for it to work. You can also see the players love working with poch and credit him for their development. You can't keep breaking it up and bringing in managers who will keep chopping and changing. And again you didn't answer my previous question. Which manager do you think will do a better job with the project youth idea our owners want to do? Who realistically can we get that is available at this time.

People don't realise that Potch is the guy before the guy, his specialty is to develop young players and turn them to men, and so far, he's doing a good job

To think on April 23rd, less than a month ago when we got battered by Arsenal, 90% of u lot in the comments here berating Lewis wanted Poch GONE. I rate Lewis cause he actually maintains his standards and doesn't flip flop throughout the season like most Chelsea fans and content creators. Poch left it way too late to be actually competent. I have no idea if he can sustain that or not because of the small sample size.

@@luqmanmohames677 brudda we changed owners, have idiotic sporting directors, had like 3 million injuries, an inconsidtent squad, no leaders, no good decision making in the final third, players missing clear cut chances for fun... and we were 12th last season. Asking for 4th after all that is a bit mad. Next season 4th is neccessary, but this season we cannot judge poch because of that.

Lets face it, these players were not top 6 quality at the start of the season. As the season progressed, they played together, got hurt together, carried each other when key players got injured and in the end got to a place where they started to play good. When this guy says that these players were top 4 from the start, i think he forgot how we were struggling to even score goals at one stage. All the misses by Jackson, all the selfish acts by Sterling. He's been so busy crying poch out every week that he forgot our struggles.

Think people would have a lot more respect for lewis if he just said poch has proved him wrong and hes turned it around, just screaming poch out because that was his previous opinion just makes him look stupid.

We were 12th last season with better experienced players. We are 6th this season with a totally new very young players with little or no epl experiences. And Lewis is talking nonsense about the manager. Of course he could have done better but it isn't as easy as how Lewis is ranting. Also considering having at least 11 first team players almost always out to injuries from beginning of the season to the end. Poch really did well overall.

If you ever feel slow and not in tune with reality Just remember Lewis thinks we should sack poch And appoint nobody because there is nobody on the market

Don’t agree with Lewis with Poch out, however, he does and has always been raising valid points. Poch struggled with game management, we dropped unnecessary points because he would just take to long to bring in subs, some starting 11 for some games were very questionable, like persisting on starting selfish Sterling, starting Thiago on the bench on crucial matches, I’d even argue that for the experience & seniority, he should’ve been a captain. Also, as a Chelsea fan, top 4 should be something we always contest for every season, whether we are going through a transition or not, but however, Poch came and brought stability in a club where we had lost our identity, Lampard & GP failed dismally, the owners a mainly to blame, with little to no knowledge of football, they made it mission impossible for managers to work, Poch has restored the player’s faith, the boys are proud to play for the badge, you can see that every player wants to play for the club, whether they come in as a sub in the last minute, no moaning, they get in and do the thing. Also, props to Poch for also giving some of our cobham lads some game time, then there was poor officiating against us every other game for the whole season, one could argue that we might have finished higher if it wasn’t for that. But all in all, I do think it’s fair to rule out Poch as a disaster considering all the factors he faced, an excessive squad, inexperience, major injuries, and so forth, we made it to the carabao final and got booted off the FA semis, both in a somewhat painful manner which we could argue that maybe we didn’t deserve to lose one of those games, Poch didn’t come in and take over a squad that made sense, I say we give him another season, then we can probably judge him and start singing Poch out. Up the Chels!

In mine own opinion Poch is a deserve manager for Chelsea right now. Who really outside there to manage Chelsea football club better than Poch Lewis?

I’m glad we get european futbol but let’s be real, there were way too many games this season that were poorly managed by poch. We should definitely be in top 4. That’s the standard & history of chelsea to play champions league futbol. So settling for 6th position & thinking poch is going to take us somewhere just shows that the levels have dropped.

Horrible opinions. 1. This team is NOW top four quality, it wasn't a while ago when almost everybody was getting injured. 2. Has Poch got Costa, Drogba, Hazard, Mata, Lampard, Ballack, Deco, Anelka, Essien, JT, Ricky, Ash, Ivanovic, Azpi, Ramires, Kante, Torres, Pedro, Oscar, Cech, etc. type class players then it would have been Poch's fault. He has got a squad which is talented but is mentally very immature, does stupid mistakes on pitch. 3. Gallagher is good player and important player. When you are in multiple competitions, you need a good and quality squad. 4. Who is going to replace Poch anyway? We are lucky that he actually decided to come.
