There is no other song that affects me like this one, especially when Ilse sings it. The beauty, strength and power of her voice is incredible.

Dit lied heb ik opgedragen aan mijn allergrootste liefde, die vandaag 3 jaar geleden is overleden. Nooit eerder heb ik zo'n mooi nummer gehoord met prachtige tekst en dan ook nog zo voortreffelijk gezongen door Ilse de Lange. Telkens als ik haar dit nummer hoor zingen, schieten de tranen weer spontaan in mijn ogen.

Ich bedauere es sehr, dass ich erst so spät auf Ilse de Lange aufmerksam wurde. Super Musikerin, klasse Sängerin und ich hoffe sie nach der Pandemie einmal live zu hören.

Mein Kompliment an Ilse. Es gibt wenige Interpreten, die einen Song für den Zuhörer so fühlbar machen. Die Intensität, mit der Ilse dieses Lied interpretiert, ist unglaublich. Da ist so viel Gefühl in der Stimme, so viel Seele. Auch der Band ein ganz großes Kompliment. Perfekt. Ein wahres Meisterwerk.

Ik vind Ilse de Lange 1 van de beste zangeressen die Nederland rijk is. Dit lied zo mooi elke keer als ik dit lied hoor word ik stil.

Wat is dit prachtig gezongen!! Ze zingt het altijd mooi, maar dit heeft iets meer country en dat maakt het extra mooi! Ilse is een pareltje in de muziekwereld!

Iedere keer komen alle emoties weer naar boven,wat een prachtig mooi nummer,geweldig gezongen,met zoveel gevoel,iedere keer komen de tranen vanzelf,net als de leaves die vallen!!!! Blijf het maar luisteren,wat een gevoel,voel het door mijn hele lijf,al die emoties!!!!!

Ooit ontmoete ik haar op een pulledag in Hoogeveen en deed ze mee aan een talentenjacht. Na afloop heb ik met haar gepraat en haar nuchterheid viel me op , " het lukt nie altied mien jong " is wat ze oa vertelde . Ondanks die nuchterheid kan ze dit toch maar donders mooi neerzetten , alsof haar leven meer groeven heeft gekregen...het siert haar .

Wunderschön. Eine Wahnsinns Stimme, eine tolle,sympathische und natürliche Frau.

Met zo'n nummer wint Ilse ieder songfestival op haar duimpje.

Eens en ook lang geleden dat ik Ilse zo'n mooi lied heb horen zingen. Qua songfestival, ik denk niet dat ze daaraan ooit zal meedoen, gezien wat ze daarover heeft gezegd in Dit Was Het Nieuws. Staat op KZread, kun je zo terug kijken. Ook prachtige aflevering van dat programma, mijns inziens...

I met this lady in summer 25years ago in the north of the Netherlands (Pulledag Hoogeveen).She was a performer there and sang country pop and I thought "she has a long way to go".Her strength is enthusiasm and open mind in things of life and other people without arrogance.Stay yourself Ilse,and keep singing about the power of life, it suits you

Ik wou even zeggen het is vandaag de verjaardag van mijn overleden opa en ik blijf dit liedje maar luisteren hij is al tien jaar overleden maar ik mis hem nog steeds.

Very nicely put, she's special, beautiful, moving and still the girl next door. She sings what she feels, she feels what she sings, she drives her pickup truck through the smoky mountains and Nashville cause her heart is there. She makes many people happy by just being herself and I hope that she will be able to tour across the US and share her music.

She's so talented and makes me cry when I hear her voice. My Heart is filled with so much pain and sadness. I didn't ever see myself being this way lthat looks like for the rest of my life. Chronic Depression and this time of the year is a bit too much for me to handle. I hope that will somehow change.
