** An little explanation of the paid promotion box ** - I was invited onboard by Emerald to try a cruise on a yacht so didn't pay a cruise fare (I don't think that's a surprise ha ha, it isn't in my normal budget that's for sure.). Nice that you make effort to make it clear when something is sponsored/you've received a cruise for free. Many KZreadrs don't bother, I see very obviously sponsored content all the time that isn't labelled. Your approach is great.

I trust you to be honest, but I still think it’s important to know if you haven’t paid the fare yourself! Great video as always, though - looks like a fab ship if you can afford it!

I like how you mentioned the things that aren't perfect, like the seasickness and even better, the shower, it does make this review seem more legit. What a gorgeous cabin!

That is simply amazing how great the crew was with Captain Hudson! The best part is that I am sure even on a luxury yacht the crew's life become very repetitive and obviously Captain Hudson brought a little spice and a lot of happiness into their lives for a week.

You could tell the crew had fun with Captian Hudson. Your cabin looked like a nice hotel room with a great layout and decent storage.

That is a very spiffy cabin. It rivals the expensive hotel rooms not the cheap budget hotel rooms that I tend to stay in. The ship it self appears very nice. As to Captain Hudson he apparently has a much better life than I do. I'm surprised you could get him to leave the ship.

That is a HUGE yacht! So cool that you could walk right into the bridge, and hysterical what they did with Captain Hudson! The graphics and content in this video are really great. Very strange that drinks were all-inclusive except soft drinks in your mini-bar! Just curious about dining on board and excursions.

The mini-bar ripoff is used on most cruise lines. Disappointing that they nickel and dime even the passengers paying 1000USD per night

@@tally1604I think the difference is in the amenities, not size. Cruise ships generally have things like casinos, theaters, water parks, karaoke bars, etc. A cruise ship is its own destination, while a yacht takes you to destinations. Of course, you'll find exceptions, because, in the end, the ship is whatever the line chooses to call it.

The lights for the cleaning staff? Brilliant. Kudos to whomever came up with that idea.

That is SO cool that the crew got in on the fun with Captain Hudson! Our Captain Hudson moved in with us last week! So excited to take him on adventures! Most will be camping trips, but hopefully he will enjoy those as much as the cruises. :)

Bridge bits on the side deck next to the bridge are called "wing stations" in yacht parlance; useful for docking when the yacht is big enough to have them.

Very interesting, obviously Capt Hudson's celebrity status was known to the crew. Can you imagine what the cabins must be like on a private super yacht that is 156m long with 20 cabins.

Captain Hudson deserves all the fun and pampering he gets. Such a sweetheart ❤

I've been on two cruises (so far). First was on the Robertson II a sailing schooner (since retired). While we weren't under sail that often it was quite the experience. My second cruise was onboard a 14 passenger motor yacht in the Galapagos Islands. Nowhere near as luxurious as the Emerald Azzurra but the yacht was more a place to eat, sleep, and journey to the next island.

Oh my goodness I just love what they did with Captain Hudson! That is so creative and fun!!!

What a nice yacht. Looks like you had a fantastic stateroom. Thanks for the very well done and informative video. Can't wait to see your next video about the yacht experience!

Thank you very much, it was a great cruise. My birthday was the last day so unfortunately spent most at the airport etc. I made sure I had a great birthday breakfast before getting off the yacht 🎉

Awesome video, bet Capt. Hudson had a blast on that cruise. Probably had more fun than you had lol. Saw another vblogger on a Ritz Carlton Yacht and the crew are a lot more accommodating and proactive than on a regular or luxury cruise. Also seems the food is much better too. If I had the funds or win the lottery I would definitely love to go on a Yacht cruise.

We received our Captain Hudson - he will be traveling with my daughter on her adventures. The yacht looked incredible - I am from a small town and don't like crowds - maybe this would work for me. Safe travels.

Red night lights help you get back to sleep. White or blue lights suppress melatonin and can make it harder to sleep. I changed my bathroom night light to a red Christmas bulb, and I've slept better since.

Military vessels all do this. After the sun goes down the lighting shifts to red. Everything is designed with that in mind. Anything red would disappear under red lights so nothing is written in or colored red. Even the charts are printed accordingly. Although fire extinguishers are red. I guess it's not possible to buy them in any other color.

Amazing hudson moments

I adore they moved your captain plushie around. I used to be a cosplayer and go to a convention every month. I was an adult but brought my plushie with me. I'd find it tucked into bed all the time.
