the advantage of the lava caverns is you can complete 1 rotation with less than 5 min basically not expending the quest with local items and do it infinitely.

Thank you for your comment! Based on my research, it is indeed possible to farm in less than 5 minutes in the forest, so this might also apply to the Citadel. I haven't thoroughly tested the Citadel for infinite farming yet, but it seems promising. In my experience, the Lava Caverns require more frequent use of fast travel, which means you spend more time traveling and less time farming. Over 10 minutes, the Lava Caverns yield me around 80-100K, occasionally hitting 110K. In contrast, the Citadel, with less use of fast travel, nets around 100-120K in the same timeframe. Please note that both tests were done without using the Dango Calculator and Dango Harvester. I plan to test farming in the Citadel for less than 5 minutes to determine the most efficient location.
