Hey Chris, just FYI the taxi driver didn't try to scam you, the taxi meter showed 47 and in Kolkata the fare is supposed to be multiplied by 2 as they take fare for going and coming back to their taxi stand. Hence, he asked 100 from you.🙃

No he didn't. Calcutta taxi drivers are some of the worst in the country. Never charged me what was on the meter. If it's 55, they ask 60. Lived there 2 years, never once got change from taxi drivers. They are always hot headed and argumentative, even if they are in the wrong
