i find if you overcommit on offence with miner poison the game is literally over. other cycle decks can afford to overcommit the 2-3 elixir and be fine on defence but i don’t think miner is able to be played that way. one overcommit poison and you’re down too much to defend.

I was playing against this deck, won, but my opponent was cycling like 10 miners on my tower in 3x elixir. I thought it would be quite fun to play so I copied the deck, had no idea it was Mo Light’s deck lol. Anyways learned real quick that defense was mad difficult and you really can’t overcommit, have to play calculated like Ian said

kinda but imo its a lot worse with hog eq cause having a mini tank on defense especially against things like goblin giant is really important (for example to tank the spear goblins) and having the miner + knight + little prince guardian makes that type of defense free. also miner + wallbreakers if you dont have a building in cycle or a spell like arrows or fireball is guaranteed damage and even if you do still miner chip damage. plus the luck aspect of catching a miner or not. all that stuff together and more is why i think this deck really isnt all that high skill. tbh imo how much skill a deck takes to play is just the opposite of how broken/good the cards are in the meta. so a deck with evo knight and little prince plus broken combos like miner + poison + wallbreakers and goblins and bombtower to me is never gon be very high skill where rn id say something likepekka bridgespam very much is

Hog eq is kinda the lower skill cycle deck compared to 2.6 (in my opinion),.And while the classic Pekka BS is hard to use, the new version with evo archer/lp or minion is simply one of the hard counter to GobG Sparky. And to me, I prefer playing golem than gob g sparky because that deck makes you brainless like with golem, you sort of have to defend carefully in 1x elixir.

I was using this deck with delivery instead of wall breakers but I started using this variation and it's so good. the split wallbreakers are just such a good first play

That’s literally the only issue with the giant snowball, otherwise it’s the best spell in the game in my opinion

just place the bomb tower right to distract the minitank and the baloon, then wait for a spell and play your air cards

Bats make a bit different approach to playing style. Defending air can be easier and sometimes we can be aggressive
