I laughed so hard when he said that on Sunday, he was sitting on the sofa in his house in Kayole, sipping warm water. I have replayed that part several times. The interview was hilarious.

Documents & information in embassy means everything, invitation letter and tickets should read same day's, when u go for interview u should insist your going for two weeks, immigration police officer in america it's not a joke,

I had the same experience in a country called Malaysia. That was November 2013. I flew out on Thursday evening and was back home in Nairobi on Saturday mid-day. I decided to demand accountability from everyone involved. I wrote letters to their Embassy, our Embassy there, the airline....and even demanded to have the state minister responsible for immigration give a detailed account and position about my ordeal, in Parliament. On the afternoon of November 29 2013, the Parliament of Malaysia stopped to discuss my deportation issue. My take - an individual officer's suspicion (based on questions of travel dates or tickets) should NEVER EVER be used to discriminate against a traveler or reverse the decision of the Consular Officers who had originally interviewed you & even issued a valid visa. The visa cancellation and deportation processes should never be casual. The Malaysian Parliament agreed that there should be very clear SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to be followed IF or WHEN a traveler is to be denied entry into a country.

@@perpecualngacha4433 After being held in that dungeon for 6 hours, and listening to all the horrors of those who had been there for days, I was lucky because someone from the airline (Ethiopian) that I had used came to fetch some deportees who were scheduled to leave that day. Because I had my fully paid return ticket, they had no reason to refuse to fly me back. I lasted only 4 hours but within that time, I had witnessed the most horrifying hostage holding enterprise by immigration officials in an international airport. I saw men and women cry like kids while those heartless Malaysians made fun of everyone. Orders are shouted like mercilessly. Did I ever try to travel back to Malaysia? They stamped on my passport that I wasn't allowed back for 5 years. I'm not sure if I'd be interested. I've been to the USA and many other nations since that time.

Oh Dommy, be strong I had a case like that 2012 I won a green card for America and I did everything I sold my plot to complete the process the injection together with my son costed me about 45k but the day of my embassy I got a young lady at the entrance and she send me away and called the security and so it was all in vain. But I still trust GOD. Am now in Baharain.

This guy is strong! People should always be aware that getting a Visa in Nairobi ain't a direct entry in to the USA, do your study well on how to present yourself to the custom. Make sure you don't have anything questionable or incriminating characters

@@morrinemumbi6517 getting Visa is just a step to the right direction of allowing you to fly your way to USA but be advised you can even be deported back in Amsterdam or any other airport where US has consulate on your way to US if you misrepresent or they suspect you

My brother I would have asked asylum in Germany. I can relate to how my brother is feeling , facing the immigration officers is difficult , being deported is the worst thing ever, I was deported and I had drained my bank account, imagine the kind of stress I was going through on the aeroplane coming back home., my brother you will heal with time. God will bless you in another way.

So very sorry my brother. Homeland security walisuspect hautarudi Kenya after the two weeks. That why they canceled the visa. Next time tafadhali keep your story consistent. Ukisema ni two weeks nunua ticket ya two weeks especially coming the first time. Also remember issuance of visa doesn’t guarantee entrance to USA. You handled the process with grace. God will make another a way

You could have said that "the invitation is for 2 weeks, but I will visit with my friends for a few weeks before returning home". There was nothing really wrong with having a 3 month ticket as long as you give a consistent story. Ati, you asked them questions ???😆😆🤣🤣🤣. Hapo my brother ulijikaanga na yako tu. You don't ask immigration officers questions. you answer and with a yes sir, yes ma'am no sir no ma'am. Short straight consistent answers.

So sorry to hear your story but be encouraged!! God has your back and His plans are the best just that as humans we don't see them at the moment. The first time i was denied US visa I thought the world was over but it was not. I did not go to the US eventually but I am in a neighbouring country and guess what, i go in and out of the US as i wish. I don't need visa. Wait for what God has for you. He is very, very faithful!!!
