Not a bad bale atall.... some real good crowd pleasers in there, despite a few questionable ones. The 90s Adidas fleeces however are right in my wheelhouse

Can I ask how you know which labels and items of clothing are older/newer? Is it just experience or are there signs or things I should be looking for? Or is there somewhere you can go to see what labels are what e.g. website? Could be an idea for a video to show people what labels are what year or how you can tell modern from vintage? Enjoying your videos by the way keep at it 😁

@@thesloaneranger1 Cheers man, I’m just getting into clothes and there’s so many selections I’m at a loss what’s good and what’s not and what to get and what not to get but I think my life would be a lot easier if I had some kind of clue to their value and age.

@@stegordoeuph No worries :) Im the wrong side of 40 and have been buying vintage for 27yrs, so alot of my knowledge comes from buying things first time around lol! Every now and then something will come along that Im not sure about however, but the internet is a great resource - use it to research labels, stitch styles, where something was made or check the current values. Brands and styles come in and out of fashion all the time, so its always worth doing your homework and keeping up to date... if you know something is popular right now and you are asking a fair market price, you will be less likely to be low-balled too ;) Knowledge is power... good luck!

@@thesloaneranger1 yeah I’m the wrong side too I’ve just left my last job and would like to do this full time but I don’t have the knowledge. Any tips you could give me where to look for this kind of knowledge or is it just gaining experience and dredging the internet looking for the information you are looking for? Thanks for the help by the way 😉

@@stegordoeuph The best tip I can give you right now, is dont go full time, especially as you are new to this. The wholesale market is shocking at the moment - with a shortage of decent stock, prices have risen alot. Customers also have less spare cash and are looking to drive a deal... that squeeze is making it harder to consistently make a fair profit. I dont want to curb your enthusiasm, so I would say go slowly, learn what you need and serve your apprenticeship first. You may find that all the washing & ironing takes away the fun of sourcing and selling, and the lean times are depressing if you are reliant on sales to pay your bills. Good luck, and I hope you have great success, but remember to enjoy what your doing too ;)

I wasn’t paid anything nor did I receive any form of discount or free stock! I’m in the process of sorting the entire situation out and will be releasing a video very soon about the entire situation. I just need to wait on a few more things regarding the situation to be communicated and mended and then I can update and post the video. As of now it looks like it’ll be a very negative video about them but I’ve given them a deadline to sort things so you’ll see once that deadline passes

@@CLASICOP Trust me I have been dealing with Syed for a while now. I know what they are like. They are going to come unstuck after the rubbish bale they sent me recently. Only 64 items in a bale that used to have 100 items and the bale cost me £400 so it wasn't a cheap one. I would say 20% of the items in the bale were damaged or marked so unsellable despite my best efforts to clean the marks.
