The usual strategy my brother employs when he wants to shop at Low Yat is to go one round as a survey session.. Then he'll take all the fliers and whatever info he can, stops at a shop for lunch or teh tarik, reviews his options, or dig some info online. Then goes for the second round and narrow down what he wants to get..

Michael, when there's no price on the product and the sales person using a calculator to show you the price, most of the time is indicating that you can actually bargain but not to say it out loud, so that other close by customers would not know what the pricing is being negotiated between you and the seller. If you have a price point that you think you are comfortable with, you can actually punch your interest price back to the seller using the calculator. But of course, if the seller can accept your offer price, you are expected to be a gentleman and make the purchase with the agreed price. So unless you really interested to purhase, not advisable to bargain with a price but not interested to buy even after the seller agreed to your bargain offer price. As for the external drive you purchased, I have the same but the blue colour ones 🤣. Was expecting you to choose to pick the blue one instead as a plot twist upon Gigi selecting the latter. 🤭🤭🤭

In low yat plaza, it's better to survey few places before making the final purchase. Some shop might give ridiculous price, some come with good bargain.

external ssd is much more expensive especially the bigger storage version. ive never found one that's affordable in the last few years. i would look into online shopping store like lazada and shopee price before checking it in low yat. transcend is pretty good. i still have one that i bought a few years ago that's still works great.

Love from Bangladesh, i suggest you to visit Langkawi island also, the breakfast buffet of asiana resort was too awesome, i miss that from Malaysia a lot

You guys should try jungle train from kl central to kelantan. There, u can enjoy waterfall, other activities like atv, camping and can enjoy nice foods also

You also can find all this gadgets at Al Ikhlas Gadget...they have so many branch..their stall is the biggest gadget in Malaysia..they have their branch in Johor, Melaka, Petaling Jaya etc

You should look for the All IT Hypermarket. Its like department store for IT products. Its on the 3rd floor (Lot 3-IT-19, 3rd Floor, Low Yat Plaza). You can find everything there. Alot more choices and the price are usually cheaper than smaller shops in the mall. Its my go to IT shop.

Seri kedai komputer was the only place i go whenever i come to Lowyat. Other than that...be carefull
