Resin total was 11 days x 180 + 2 transient resin, for just over 2k, all spent between weapon materials, ascension, and talents for Eula. Mora breakdown: 500k burst to level 8, 950k NA to level 9, 420k ascension cost, 988k leveling cost, Bacon 225k ascension, Bacon 900k leveling cost, WGS 225k ascension, 900k leveling cost = total 5,108,000 spent before I could make this video. Before I verified how much it cost I thought it was much less, so I thought the title was originally going say 3 million mora, not 5 million... (Side note: I initially intended to use Bacon for this video before realizing WGS allows double dipping the value of the 40% atk buff for the whole team, so I had to level it too lol. I also still prefer Bacon vs WGS for OW though, since Im not always attacking things with Furina skill going in OW the crit is nice)

Eula main here. People forget that her normal attacks are a large part of her damage, even if she is "focused" on her burst. The real issue, however, is her crit rate. Unlike most cryo units, Eula doesnt have a good way of getting extra crit rate outside of maybe Rosaria, and because of how much damage her burst does, you really need it to crit. I'd generally recommend 70-75 as a bare minimum. Also, although her skill doesn't directly do a lot of damage, it's decrease res is still very helpful. This is a very funny video, however, and I'm glad that you could make good use out of my favorite character in the game :) i hope you continue to enjoy her in the future

Yeah I think the real use for her will be as an option for a strong "unrelatable" team lol. Sometimes I need that when I have a much weaker team on the other side.

@Solunerra she's actually surprisingly f2p friendly other than basically being glued to the hip with Raiden Shogun. Most of her best supports are 4 stars and fairly f2p friendly. I personally use Diona and Rosaria as her other two supports, but characters such as Charlotte, Layla (if youre careful), and especially Mika are all great options for him! She also doesn't need a shield since she has a lot of hyperarmor during her burst. Of course, needing Raiden is not great due to how good she in some other teams, but there are plenty of good teams that dont need her. Of course, there are some more expensive supports for her, but i dont want someone to invest more than they have to for Eula. All of the characters with the exception of maybe Rosaria all only care two stats. Atk/hp and er, and they dont even need that much er with the Shogun!

As an eula main, all of her playstyles are valid

I did plunge eula myself. it helped with a my abyss run with the plunging bonus. I used the shimenowas artifact set it has a plunging bonus after using her skill, though it meant I had to sacrifice using her burst in her rotation. Even still I was very satisfied with the results. I also used shenhe instead of an electro character for the cryo resonance. This is one of those teams I wished genshin had a "results" screen in abyss to see how much of what type of damage was dealt in total because I'm not sure how much shatter damage I did.

I feel like the physical resistance reduction is much better than cryo resonance, especially against mech opponents who already have physical resistance

@@rrrrrrrrrr916 sadly l have very bad hunters set which would have made plunge eula more consistent, so I used the cyro res crit bonus Good thing shenhe helps with physical damage. And if I do farm a good hunters set, then shenhe can help with eulas energy so I can use her burst a lot.

Glad to hear you like plunge Eula too! I probably shouldve mentioned Shimenawas as an option too, but I do think its very enjoyable using her burst still so Id personally not sacrifice it unless necessary. Shenhe is an interesting alternative to Fischl that I dont (currently) have to test. I think the main issue Id have there is just that removing Fischl would make the team feel a bit worse dmg wise. The shatter dmg specifically probably wasnt that relevant haha. We would realistically need a Nilou for shatter to make it relevant. We definitely do need something that breaksdown dmg contribution in game though

as an eula haver since 1.5, cryo plunge eula wasnt something I would know I would like lol

@@Solunerra oh yea, it was melt, the team was eula, xianyun, xiangling and chongyun, the only problem is the circle impact ngl.

Was pulling for Eula in chronicle and hit 80 pulls no end in sight then came the pity and mona appear crushed and defeated but after accepting I will have to use more wishes the mona splash art went away to show our physical queen!

11:03 You dont need to do it like that, if you use her ult her E's cooldown resets.

Eula is the most fun character to play when you dont have theorycrafters in your ear malding over the claymore queen

just for smoothness sake, the rotation for her E is tap E, burst, then hold E (cause her burst refreshes her E)

I've been running a plunge Eula for the funsies while raising Xianyun's friendship lvl and it's a really fun time for me to hear the clang, see big white numbers, and every enemy disappearing.

I've been playing Eula in a monoCryo team for a while, consisting of Eula/Rosaria/Shenhe/Layla, which basically trades the physical res shred from Superconduct for the combination of Shenhe's and Rosaria's C6 and gets the cryo resonance CR increase in return much more consistently, since Fischl isn't around to get rid of cryo auras. But I do have everyone needed for this team too, so I should give it a try some time.

I haven’t touched Eula ever since I got her day 1. Good to see she still get used 2 years later

Oh I cleared the last abyss with a plunge Eula team but instead of Fischl I used Raiden, that way I could alternate between bursts

Have you tried full crimson with Pyro goblet? 2 piece, crimson/2 piece Attk set or wanderers troupe works well too if stats are good. Eulas normal/plunging Attk scaling is higher than Sayus...and Sayu is hitting 300k+ per plunge on basic melt comp

Depending on your supports you'll be slapping way harder melts as opposed to non reaction comps. Ideal comp would be C6 Bennett, Xianyun, Eula and Furina w/ Freedom sworn; or Ganyu Elegy as burst support cryo app, Xianyun, C6 Benny n Eula. Only works if Benny is C6...but worth it since 5 Plunges per rotation does more dmg than a non reaction plunge comp or a standard physical burst build

She may hit harder, but tbh I dont like playing C6 Bennett variations with Cloud Retainer that much if there is other options. Mostly due to circle impact but its also a factor of swapping Fischl for Bennett means losing a very significant source of off field DPS. Does the gain in Eula dmg make it worthwhile? Maybe, but C6 Bennett for plunge DPS is always going to be a last resort for me, personally.

For every 36* I've done with Sayu, Fischl, Dendro traveller and Dori...or plunge melt comps with xyz...there's many others who'd feel it's pointless to do that when they have characters like C6 Yelan, etc that could solo abyss. It's all about play style n fun🙂 No one is right or wrong if they've been AR60 for 2+ yrs and have the artifacts -)

lol, just watching you push enemies away with the plunges proves this is a meme team for anything other than single target bosses. The energy problems proves her normal teams are better for abyss clears. Thank you for posting this as I was almost going to get cloud retainer on her rerun for Eula but now I will stick to the team I use ❤

Well, plunge Eula was easier than normal Eula in this current abyss lol. Eula just has more contextual issues with her normal playstyle. Shes fun regardless, to be clear, but plunging really helps make there be a lot more situations you can feasibly use her in.

For plunge eula you don't really *need* to regen her burst. She can build up her phys res shredding stacks just with her skill alone. But if you do want to get her energy frequently while using the same team, raiden is the go to for the electro slot. A very non-relatable team lol

Yeah I know you dont need her burst for plunging, thats why I said it realistically wasnt worth speccing heavily into ER to the degree that youd be able to have it every rotation. But I think it would be a more fun playstyle to have her burst every rotation while plunging is kinda all, since it feels good to try to do NA cancels instead of the typical dash cancels to build burst stacks, and if I could get better at playing it to see the 200k I got against coppelius more consistently, I think itd be super fun.

As a C6 Eula main since her release, she's always worth it

I got her weapon two 10 pulls before getting the Beacon (weapon I was going for) so it kinda has me wondering if I should give her another try. So I’m basically asking if I replicated this video but with her Sig how much better would it be?

I imagine slightly better than what you saw in this video, but not crazily so. It will probably be more consistent for her dmg output, with better uptime on the team atk% buff, and the attack spd may also make NA canceling the plunges feel better. The higher base attack’s value will depend a bit on the amount of atk% on her, and the dmg bonus should be slightly better than atk% as a secondary stat too

Just saw this and thanks for the reply. I independently tired it and Beacon for the past week or so and it was just way too hard to get enough crit tbh. I thought about doing MH but then I would guess her normal attacks would plummet. I even tried 9.7,8 with Childe as a flex just to boost normal (to 10) but it couldn’t make up for the 20% crit loss. I’m gonna keep trying with the strong box though so I’m hoping for good luck. Pale flame is just a pain to go for.

God this makes me want to pull for Eula, but I have to remain strong for Kazuha. 😭

Plunge eula is way better than physical eula. Physical eula is so sad. Can do like 500k damage every 2 minutes of swinging and bursting making her useless for abyss

I used to be a Eula main but I stopped coz it's so hard to use her against shielded enemies. I thought of a way to make Physical characters more viable through Varka. Varka should be cryo user with a more supportive role. E skill: toggles between physical and cryo damage. Burst effect: Deals 180 degree cryo slash whenever the on field character deals physical attacks be it normal, charge, or plunge. It occurs every 2 aeconds. Cryo slash gives physical damage buff that lats for 5 seconds. Deals 180 degree physical slash whenever the on field character deals cryo damage be it normal, charge, o plunge. It occurs every 2 seconds. Physical slash gives cryo damage buff that last for 5 seconds. He's going to be perfect support for Eula and Razor.

Thats always an option, but tbh that will always be my last resort for plunge DPSing a unit using Cloud Retainer. As mentioned in the video I think what makes playing different units as a plunge DPS is how you can still utilize the other parts of their kit while doing plunges. In Eulas case, she already has a kit incentivizing physical damage that imo makes her quite interesting to play as a plunge physical unit. On top of that, I dont even think Pyro plunging would be that much better. Sure, Id be able to hit higher numbers, but basically all Im doing is swapping Fischl for Bennett, which means Im losing a very significant source of team DPS. Even though I gain in Eula damage its not even necessarily going to be as much of a team DPS increase as it seems like it would be because of how much damage Fischl can deal that is lost Not to mention Bennett being circle impact potential being annoying as well. As soon as you include Bennett in a team you tend to restrict freedom of movement and general flexibility of your rotations quite a bit, which is a big downside

As a C6 Benny and Xianyun haver, I can confirm the full pyro build on any claymore/sword, Polearm character...the dmg is crazy. Set up Xianyun with 225+ ER; your cryo support with 250 ER; C6 Benny with 300 ER.....all bursts are up after the rotation. Past 2 abyss resets I've used Sayu melt plunge and all starred easily. Even ran DragonsBane Xiao with full Shimenawa and pyro goblet...he's melting 400-500k per plunge. I can confirm pyro melt n vape comps are lit. Edit: if you're NA server I can show u in co op the fluidity and power of the comps

Please do pyro eula to piss off other eula mains

I don't normally co-op outside of doing it specifically for joining random people (like my Kirara video). Other than that I co-op on stream sometimes, or when I need to steal materials, which I usually do through the coop channel on my discord server, but that is relatively rare. I wouldnt join the server just on the hope to coop with me. Id play coop more if Genshin coop were better designed, but at this point it is mostly relegated to coop for video ideas, so you can keep an eye out if I make a post looking for people available to do coop for some idea I have.
