I Spent 168 Hours in Capsule Hotels in Tokyo

Capsule hotel tour in Tokyo, Japan from the cheapest to most expensive! We explore all types of capsule hotels from advanced hotels to weird hotels to even some with vending machines in them! Plan your next trip for FREE with Magic Travel here: www.magictravel.ai/?r=livingb...
This is a capsule hotel tour and also a challenge to see who has the the world's best capsule hotel in Tokyo! During the video we tried many different types of capsule hotels from sleep pods in train stations to secret gaming capsule hotels to so much more! Now when traveling I’ve experienced capsule hotels in Asia including trying what I thought was the World’s Best Capsule Hotel ($9/night), to the world’s cheapest capsule hotel vs most expensive capsule hotel to even first class airplane seats that feel like capsule hotels to even a capsule hotel in the world’s cheapest county, however none of these topped these capsule hotels! This was the best capsule hotel I have ever seen in the world costing just $6 per night! All of these different sleep pod options looked more like the world’s most expensive airplane seat compared to a capsule hotel and while sleeping it also felt more like a micro studio / tiny home rather than a normal Tokyo capsule hotel! Enjoy this tokyo capsule hotel tour of a video!

Capsule hotels are amazing. They are crazy cheap, it's unbelievable. I also really liked that the doors of the capsules look easy to open so you don't feel "trapped" as for many people staying in a fully closed and tight room's a horrible feeling. I would absolutely try these hotels out

Great question! So, first thing. If you are a very light sleeper you will most likely wake up. HOWEVER, if you don't mind a bit of noise. DO IT! Tokyo is super expensive for a hotel which are also very small (130 sqft or 12sqm). So in my opinion capsule hotels (if well rated) are the way to go! Also, in my experience its quite fun to experience something new in a hotel stay

Heck, I'd just be happy to have a secure place I could sleep for $6. I wouldn't care as much about things like a shower or extra amenities. I mean I would like access to a shower but if it was just for one night, I could see skipping one possibly. I'm hoping that maybe more companies will pick up on on the capsule-hotel idea in the US and we can see more of these, especailly in some areas like airports and train stations, where people can rest between flights for example (if you have a long layover, say 4+ hours). I mean even if it was say $50 a night in the US for a capsule hotel in an airport I think a lot of people would take advantage of that, especially if they didn't have to leave the airport and go back through security again. You would just have capsule hotels located say at the ends of terminals or perhaps a separate area of the airport that is within the security zone (ie. after security) but still accessible but away from the day-to-day traffic in the airport. I think this would be a good market someone could get into.
