I'm new to this. I don't keep the cardboard to all of them only a select few. If you are a collector/ trader-seller. Then yeah I can see why you'd want to keep the packaging but if you are a pure collector. Purchasing & keeping for yourself, then don't feel obligated to keep all original packing 👌 The Camaro & Impala are my favorites. So cool. I want to get these eventually lol

I agree. What's the point of buying to leave in the package? You could just leave them in the store or look at them online.

I miss the Rumblers, the 3 wheeled trikes that Hot Wheels came out with in the 70's. Those were awesome!

I like how these RLC cars are like basic M2 cars that I buy for $7 at the shop. Even the M2 cars are "limited numbers" usually limited to 3000.

yeah i have a bunch of M2 collectables with less that 10k made. I dont undertsand how RLC are so expensive for like 30k limited

Mini gt or tarmac works packaging is something hot wheels should add to high value models

Collectors like their blisters and card art, otherwise I think they'd do everything in boxes.

All of Hot Wheels RLC edition are so nice and great but basically I'm a toy car collector as well... I'll do the same thing that it should be unboxed. I know also for other collectors out there they'll just use it for display but you could play it if they want to. After all toys are not just for display.... 😊

As a collector, watching boxes open makes me cringe lol! But they are meant to be opened after all. Great video!!

I can’t imagine collecting ANY Hot Wheels car, and not opening it up to put my hands on it. That’s part of the thrill. I try to collect all of the Gassers I can, regardless of value.

I would NEVER take that 240Z out of the case for anything in this world, it looks gorgeous. That Impala too! Makes me wish I had the money to burn on these things.

A little reminder that even adults (that would be me) find spending that much very hard to do. Ask your parents what they think is ok about this hobby. In the mean time enjoy looking at these videos. For many this is the only way many will see them like this.

Although not my favorite, I like the Impala the most because it really pays homage to a popular sub-section of car culture. The level of detail that includes the “hydraulics” really shows that Mattel did their research.

Here's a note I have for many KZreadrs; The first time you use an abreviation like "RLC" in your video, say the full words, so casuals know what the hell RLC stands for.

I vote you for President.. excellent video . The Hobbie of diecast collecting is turning corrupt big time . This video is the turn nature of the hobbies . For the people not the profit.. the collectors that open packages they don't push there beliefs on others , it's a gift to have open pack collectors see true beauty that package collectors don't see . You can't be taught this gift or trained in the art of opening a package . Watching this video has strengthened my vision and brought me back to the roots of the Hot wheels true brotherhood Fist in the air.. they can't stop us . Let them try . I get it....I collect just the different variations of the 77 Trans Am Hot Bird casting and I keep them in a similar wall shelf, I have had a tough choice to open some harder to find modern production cars to fill the display, I dont plan on selling them, have all the US variations so far, there is a few from overseas I need. Was my favorite car as a kid in the 80s, still is😎👍

I remember I had a ton of hot wheels as a kid and some of the doors would open on them. That was back in the 90s and they made them that way. It’s a shame they don’t make them anymore unless you buy matchbox moving parts or a collectors car

That "little thing" is called a tailgate also try using the right size screwdriver and you won't strip the screws out.

I hope you don't hate me, but "that little piece that opens and closes", on the 240Z is the hood. You probably knew that, but I believe that car buffs are gonna like your channel more if you call the parts of cars and trucks by their proper names. Great, clear videoing, and good-looking cars though. May your channel grow!

I missed out on the holiday RLC collector sale this year and I am beyond upset. I noticed the page the same day it was added and went to the store to just find all the normal items at normal prices. Few days pass and I go back to the page and notice it said click "here" to visit the sale page. Clicked and everything was sold out. So many RLC cars that I missed out on

100% agree especially for $25+ a car. They have been getting better about the details (mid 2022) including mirrors like on the Hakosuka, 240Z, newly released power wagon. Hopefully as the club grows and time goes on they'll get more and more of these drops with more accuracy.
