Tbh the whole hacking health packs thing is very different depending on ur playstyle. Sombra can play in many different ways. If you have a playstyle similar to Questron where you play with your team more and don’t always have your translocator at a set place, you tend to use your supports more instead of health packs. Playstyles like fitzy and sombrawizard, however, make good use of translocator positioning and health packs to set up in places and play a safer, more methodical sombra. Both playstyles can be successful and neither are necessarily bad. Just depends on what intent you’re doing it with.

@@EternalChrisX currently doing a mostly solo climb with sombra (she’s my main) and it’s so difficult even with decent mechanics and game sense. Communication and team awareness truly skyrockets her performance.

Hacking packs is definitely not a waste of time. Camping on your packs is a waste of time. People mix this up. Hacking packs takes almost zero time and it benefits your team alot by taking control of different parts of the map. Plus when enemies aren’t around, your hack cooldown will almost always be ready, you might as well take that 1 second to keep your nearest pack locked, doesn’t hurt you or your team. The issue is when people commit to corners too much because of the packs rather than staying where the team is and participating in team fights.

Yeah, but you wanna be as annoying as possible on your cooldown rotation. Check out questron on twitch, he's literally just using translocator on high ground and goes in and out on cd. But yeah, sometimes it's worth it, I agree.

@@EternalChrisX your misunderstanding. Obviously you want to use to trans and hack while there’s a fight, but when there’s down time, hacking the packs your running by is using your cooldowns all the way. There isn’t a fight happening at all times in the match, this is your opportunity to do this. You can hack while running, it’s not spending time nor putting you out of position. I prefer Fitzys method.

I mean zen can clap sombra if he really can hit those shots. It is not like he is really completely defenseless against her.

But yeah still terrible match up i guess, but a very skilled zen can on paper 2 tap sombra with headshot if he got good aim.

@@DemiCape when you're diving with a tank, or at the same time as your team it's actually almost impossible to kill sombra with zen, unless as you said you get really lucky. In my games I was able to kill or almost get a kill on zen

If the sombra is wise when she chooses to engage the zen and hits her shots, he should die at least 90% of the time.

FINALLY. A WORTHY OPONENT

Hello again and i don't play much of Sombra but what i do know is to hack Packs if player are using them alot as then they have to go get a new one ( E it also speed up the Pack regen so that helps you're team abit if they know but still not a play all the time )

Well the point really is to not rely on health packs and rely more on your supports and use your hack to provide value for your team. There are some health packs worth hacking to deny the enemy their use or to help your teammates, you just shouldn't do it if you can use that hack cool down on an enemy and you shouldn't be leaving your translocator next to a health pack all game long

@@i_albanna I was ana. Sombra is insanely strong paired with a dive tank. Working as a team can literally be 1+1=3 when it comes to value. When fighting sombra just hold hands with second support, if she's alone she is not a problem.

Eternal, you can also TP next to a DVA bomb, and JR tire and not get hit if you time it right.

God I absolutely hate when sombra and tracer are on the flank and annoy me as a support. I thought I will fight with the evil, but not become one
