I was once like you Tim. My cousins kept insisting I watch it. There are a lot of episodes but if you skip fillers it is much more enjoyable. Also give Super a chance as well. I personally love the Tournament of Power which was towards the end, but I enjoyed the entire show.

@@cfwoods04 about close to half is filler, if i was to give an exact estimated percentage i would say like 40% because between naurto and shippuden, there has to be atleast 290-300 episodes of filler with both, the episodes are short, about 20 minutes each really, so if you skip all filler you can really finish this show in a good 2-3 weeks, idk why people feel so intimidated by that, and hell if you enjoy it enough i bet you’ll probably finish it in just 2 weeks

All i can say is tim, anybody that I’ve put on to naruto always says they’re glad they watched it, it takes some patience though but it’s definitely worth it 100%. Its not about just the action but it makes you honestly want to be a better person and things of that nature, there’s a lot of life lessons in naruto that can be very reassuring

I’m on the second season of shippuden rn and Tim your tripping big time. It’s definitely a journey but the characters the arcs the action and the story are all fantastic definitely arguably the best anime and I think it’s definitely the most in-depth sink your teeth into anime I’ve ever seen without a doubt and a anime nerd friend of mine told me you can’t be into anime without watching dbz or naruto and he’s right maybe wait til shippuden is on something but Hulu unless you got the premium Hulu without ads it also just had its 19th anniversary the other day

I just truly feel bad for people that refuse to watch Naruto because of the over-popularity and the "700 episodes". 1. It's hyped for a reason, and I'm not afraid, as someone who has watched almost every hyped anime, that it is the best anime ever made second to none. 2. It's not truly 700 episodes. Once you hit Shippuden filler, you can watch a season, skip one, repeat. They did fillers in between seasons to give time to produce canon. 3. The story is truly insane. Episode 3 ties into crazy plot twists 300 episodes later. 4. Character development is top tier. Back story is top tier. Plot is top tier. Animation is top tier. 5. This anime has everything an anime fan wants/needs and there's no way to explain it other than you're missing out if you haven't watched it.

Tim if you watch it you gotta at least get to episode 15 to start the Zabuza arc
