Biggest change would be to run the brake cable to a sprocket and spindle that pulls the trigger instead of tying off clothesline lol and you can set the tension for each gun. 🤔 At the end of the day though, the reason matt can do these things is probably because he doesn’t overthink them like us 😂

Awesome. Suggestion: use small cables and pulley's attached to a lever with different attachment points. You can fire 1 or multiple or all. The lever will give you more leverage Use carabineers for quick detachment or change over.

This van is a kid's toy. Working as a forester during the Rhodesian war I drove armoured, mine protected Land Rovers with 8 'cannons' mounted on the roll bars and button-fired from the dashboard. Each cannon was a fairly short steel tube about one and a half inches diameter loaded with a huge cartridge of powder and shot. Firing just one cannon rocked the whole vehicle violently. After my third Landy stalled with the heavy driver's door blown half-off I removed both doors, allowing for quick exit to continue any future contacts using FALs.

Since its a prototype here are some improvement ideas. Pneumatic actuators could be done with levers, buttons, or plungers to fire the weapons. It would be fairly clean install. Could also modifiy your mounts to have jack screws for elevation and windage.

@brianm7837 Yes, that's what I was thinking. That would be awesome 👌 Or you could use variable speed mini DC electric motors with a cam on the output shaft. Push a button for each motor, as it rotates the cam contacts the trigger. Turn the speed up or down for how fast it rotates. You can buy them set up like that for a few dollars each. That would be relatively easy and reliable.

All right, I did a lot of commercial fishing long line and things like that what you need to do is take a bunch of like half inch stainless steel rings, weld them together on a flat surface so they’re all separate in a group put each gun individually through each ring and then everywhere there’s a turn, you have to keep all of those ropes separate take the flex out of your control panel and mount stands with rings on them behind each gun. If you separate those all with either stainless rings or like a ceramic ring, or a fishing pole guide would be a good example you’ll have zero or close to zero friction in between you, pulling in the actual trigger it’s the type of rope used in the total lack of separation that is making everything so difficult

Really one of my only suggestions is to us servos to pull the strings, you could wire each servo to a button and put those on your control panel where the rings are. You could select your gun of choice much quicker ;)

i'm thinking solenoids and switches or some sort of cam to remote fire rather than string. not sure how the feds feel about that. you might want to put some aiming bolts on each mount to help site in each weapon
