@@dannydee2668Tractor travelling at say 20mph just might be considered "slow moving" but the worst part for me was crossing the hatched area which was on the approach to a road on the left. If an impatient driver had decided to turn right out of that road to beat the approaching tractor and trailer, Lee's test drive could have come to an abrupt end with a brand new but badly bent Taycan Gran Turismo returning to the dealership on a recovery truck.

It's a loan car. Mr click-bait strikes again.

I worked for newspapers as a Graphic Designer. No such thing as ClickBait. It's marketing. A great movie with a naff title or poster will not get bums on seats. This must be good content as the watch time is very high. People throw the word ClickBait about because it sounds good. It's marketing.

Our late Queen had a 1962 Vauxhall Cresta Friary Estate.Only about 40 were made.She apparently used it at Windsor for several years.The car today is stored at Sandringham I believe..

You say Estate Car - looks more like a big Hatchback. Too much slant on the boot and the opening in the back is a little restricted. A true Estate car would, I feel, be more concerned with space rather than looks. Since you're not in the antiques business that likely matters not - but I'd liken it more to an upmarket hot hatch than an estate.

So you cried about the depreciation of the blue one, but somehow that is now all forgotten when driving the green one!?!

You’ll never learn. That’s 50% depreciation as soon as it touches the road.

As my other half & son say.....estates are cool....but not electric ones 🙄 I'm very surprised you've gone for another electric car after the slating you gave over them in previous videos.....but each to there own.....I hope you don't live to regret your decision. Other half has a diesel volvo...clean too....& my son has a diesel audi....also very clean.....emissions help by using something called "dipatane" which helps with the engine & emissions. 😊

I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022 V8 Summit Reserve, it pulls our RV (caravan) and boat and you can put trees in the back when you go down the local garden center and you can drive it over rocks if you desire :) and our Malamute is happy in the back. Its the nearest I would ever get to an estate car and I would not drive one in the UK though the dogs would be an issue, maybe a Q5...I miss flooring my old BMW 328 coupe down those country lanes, but I am a lot older now and Canada has mainly straight roads, even my motorbike started to get boring here.

It doesn't look like an estate car to me, a hatchback, yes.

Whether you pay taxes or not is irrelevant. What is relevant, is what can be legally used on public roads. All road users should be reasonable in their use of that amenity and be considerate towards other road users.

I love my Estate and bought it purely for practicality. It’s only a Ford but it’s good enough for me and the hounds and all our camping equipment. Plus it’s also cheap to run especially on my wages 😂

The styling looks a little bit like a VW Scirocco mk3, which is a good thing, but it's not an estate.

I was in a station wagon twice in 1967. My grandfather living in another state passed. We had no car. My uncle hired a driver to use his station wagon to pick us up for the funeral. We were picked up 4 women driving to the next state over. About 1 hour ride. Somewhere along the ride something went wrong with the car but we made it. The driver was sent to fix the car while we went to the funeral, church and cemetery in limousines back to the state we just came from. Figure it was a good 4 hours before we returned. Now, back in the station wagon on the way home that was repaired or was supposed to be repaired. We came off the bridge that was probably at least 500 feet in the air and we are traveling about 1/4 of the way down the ramps road when we hearing a grinding noise in the back seat. The driver stopped to look at wheel with city traffic backed up and the wheel just made its way off the axle! Thank god we were going slower on the ramp! So us 4 women got out of the car afraid we would get hit by a car from behind. 4 women standing on the side ramp over one foot wide trying not to fall into the road of traffic. Way before cellphone times. 15 minutes standing there in the cold cars going by. All of a sudden our hero’s stopped in a navy blue Lincoln Continental! A traveling living room! In the car was a young black couple in late 20’s. They asked what happened. The man knew not to be fixed on the road. The man asked where we were going which was about 45 minutes away. Seems the man was passing where we were going or either he realized we were down and out in the area we were going to. The man said “hop in…I’ll take you!” Our hero!!!!! All four of us jumped in that Lincoln Continental and off we went! Not a thought of it being dangerous. 1967 was a different time. People still helped each other out! The driver and his girlfriend were playing music in the car. Then a favorite song came on….I’m a Soul Man…from Sam and Dave. We were all singing and bopping to the music along our ride home as well as other music. We got to our location. My mother attempted to pay the driver for his generosity of driving of us home but… the man wouldn’t accept it. I will never forget that ride and whenever I hear that song those 2 wonderful hero’s are always remembered!

So after all the previous anti-electric videos you have gone for another Tycan well I give up! One of the best-looking sports estate cars ever built was the Ogle-designed Relient Scimitar SE 5. Bearing in mind was designed in the late 1960s and early 1970s. I remember seeing one in Thirsk about 1971. It was drop-dead gorgeous looking and I had to have one. I went on to have three two SE5s and an SE6 (new in 1977) which wasn't a patch on the original and was smartly sold on.

All the car I've ever needed was my Lexus RX-350. You can put the back seats down and have plenty of room for everything, I use it to pick up the Christmas tree and it fits in the back with the hatch door down.

Just an idea for your next mission Lee, how about you drive from Lands End to Hull or Carlisle to Dover in the dead of night when everything is quiet charging points will be available, then get Geoff to do the same route in his diesel car during the day he has rush hour traffic etc time both journeys see who completes the journey in less time.

I quite like it, a director on the industrial estate i work on has just swapped his taycan for one, mountain bike mounted on the back externally and kayak mounted on the roof. I am very much interested in the numbers of cost to change and how much would they offer for your taycan with the negative equity.? ... MacMaster, thanks for reminding me of something about my mum that I had forgotten about for quite literally decades. She also told me that green was an unlucky colour, but it wasn’t cars it was clothes. Wonder where this rather odd superstition originated? It’s not something we hear nowadays.
