Those are common in Germany in private bedrooms. These days some people go for futon style or boxspring style. But over all those with storage are still the most common. Hotels on the other hand most often go for boxspring or something similar without storage.

Here's an idea, Make a vacuum chamber but with 2 holes in those 2 holes put gloves stuck to it inside the vacuum chamber, see how different things feel in a vacuum chamber. First proto putty in a vacuum vs normal proto putty, hope you use this idea

If you use strong, noto strechable gloves, it might work, but then you couldn't fell the things. So, it wouldn't be possible to do it the way you described it, but it would be possible if you change a few things.

Prices for lumber and everything else purchased for this project will vary a lot depending on the stores you have access to in your area and online. It's not reasonable to include a price list because you aren't buying items from the same store. This is also intended as a plan-it-yourself project so that you can include things _you_ want in _your_ bed. Having a complete list makes a lot of people think they can't do the project at all if they don't need or can't afford all of the parts Nate used.

Hunter White You are totally right! The Hacksmith did do something similar about a year ago. What I was referring to was the general act of being able to put ideas into action, not necessarily the creation of brand new ideas. Though Nate did create a unique product. No one has made this exact design before.

Sketch up is cool. We use it at school for our robotics it’s a little confusing at first but you get the hang of it. I suggest using “Tinker Cad” to start off your robotics.

CASPER should offer this same bed Frame, Headboard & Castor Wheels that a customer can bolt together! with all the extras as optional options. If they would do that I would definitely buy this exact setup!!! Thumbs up if you agree

Simple and effective design. I build my own beds. it's nice to see a different approach.

Not going to lie, this video was very inspirational. I'm gonna go do the same and do an 8 hour challenge on my comfy bed as well
