After menopause I had to simplify my skincare. I used a whole bunch of stuff including prescription tretinoin and everything started causing problems. Now it’s cleanse, a vitamin C/antioxidant serum and sunscreen in the morning and cleanse, retinol serum and moisturizer at night. Exfoliate Sunday and Wednesday with peel pads. That’s it. Happy skin. If I ever try to add anything else it’s a disaster. Great video. ❤
You are beautiful and makes me so happy to see a normal 50+ woman who is aging gracefully. I turned 60 this year and I"m just taking good care of my skin with lovely skin care, and embracing the slow changes in my self, just like my grandmothers did. I LOVE my skincare rituals. Thanks for this... we have very similar routine nad issues!
Hi Bobbi, I too have struggled with rosacea for decades until last November 2023 when I discovered Peaches Skincare products. Lisa from Peaches Skincare has a YT channel that popped up on my homepage screen so I watched it and read all the comments which were very positive and decided to give the products a try. I’m so very glad I did because within a week I could definitely see and feel a huge difference in my rosacea not to mention the red rashes that I had been suffering with since I moved to the desert. It also normalized my combo oily/dry skin. Her products are very clean & pure and reasonably priced. They last a long time and a little goes a long way. I’m 79 and get compliments on my skin all the time. I can’t recommend her products enough and the fact that she has been an aesthetician for over 40 years is a definite plus, especially with all the tips she provides on her channel on caring for our skin. I now hardly wear any foundation which I always used to cover up my rosacea. Most of the time I just wear a BB cream with sunscreen and a small amount of blush and I’m done!
I'm 60. I use Walmart brand moisturizing facial cleanser, baking soda and water scrub for exfoliator, castor oil on my eye lids, lashes and underneath. Gold bond face cream.
You looks so pretty Bobbi! I am so envious of your hair! You have the healthiest looking hair.
I couldn’t get the CeraVe AM with SPF to work for me either. I liked the ingredients and the price point so I went searching for a drugstore dupe that would work for me. I think I tried them all and the only one I like is the CVS dupe. It’s the most expensive of the dupes but still affordable (especially if you join their rewards program and get regular coupons for money off). It’s a much nicer product than the original and you don’t break the bank using the amount needed to get the SPF. I follow with a little Tinted SPF just to take away the slight white cast. Works well under makeup. Since you asked for suggestions for moisturizers I like the Accure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream which is loaded with peptides and/or the ELF Holy Hydration fragrance free, both are nice moisturizers for my very dry skin. I may try that PC exfoliant, the other one is too strong for me too.
In the winter months, I enjoy using the Cerave skin firming night cream. You are delightful to watch, and I appreciate how down to earth you are!
From one 57-year old to another across the pond, this is a great video. Love you humour and your honests. I have those wee milia bumps above my eyelids. I did get them removed years ago by electrolycis in a salon in Mayfair (it was bound to be good!), which worked but they came back. Time to get myself back to the posh beauty salon! Thanks for your work.
Within the first minute I’m already laughing….you are so real. You crack me up! Love your videos!

Hi Bobbie! Don’t know if you have tried these ones, but I tried last winter Aveeno Calm and Restore Skin Therapy Balm. My rosacea was kept under control and although it is a balm I think it acts more like a rich cream. Also, La Roche Posay Lipikar Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream is great for me during winter. God bless!!!
I've been curious about that Paula's Choice exfoliant. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Great video Bobbie. Thanks for sharing your routines ❤❤❤
Hi Bobbie, Your routine is very simplified, and easy to do. I was using Remedy for Dark spots, and need to start up again. Gave it a month, and wasn’t seeing results, but I think I needed to use it longer. I’m going to try the Cicaplast Balm under & around my eyes at night. Hoping it’ll help me also. Thanks, and I’ll be passing this video to my bestie who has Rosacea. Your skin looks so healthy ! ☺️💞☺️

Bobbi, you look great! I deal with the same skin issues. The dry skin for me is yeat round. Because of where I live and became, I've tossed many more calendars than you. 😊 I'm going to try some of the products you've mentioned. I enjoy your videos so much, with your humor and delightful approaches! Thank you! God bless you! ❤
Hallo dear! Happy to find your channel as you have a wonderful routine, very similar to mine. For exfoliation I used Ren Ready Steady Glow also 2 x per week. Now I will change to Paula's Choice. Thanks a lot - you have now a new follower from Austria! Servus from Vienna! 😘
Great Skincare routines Bobbi. Your skin and eye area looks soo healthy and you’ve got that healthy, natural glow. I purchased CURR Aqua natural exfoliant. It was highly recommended from Contoured Chemist. It does exactly what the ELF exfoliant does. And my face feels so very soft. But yes, I do still question as to if that’s really dead skin cells that are coming off and or just the product granuals( extremely gentle) but, regardless, my skin loves it. I just did a TCA 13 peel a couple weeks ago and my skin is still peeling in a few areas. A I also use Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Emzyme Mask 1-2/ week and WOW, my skin glows for days. Every La Roche Posay product I have purchased always peels on me? But I really want to try the combo that’s worked for your eye area as I too have the same problem you had with really dry skin under my eyes and my lids. Thank you bunches for sharing and explaining why you use each product.
Never heard of mandelic acid, will look into it, thanks, I am 59 with some of the same skin problems as you minus the rosacea. I do want to get laser to get rid of the capillaries on face
I am loving this post, and especially because your skin IS looking beautiful so it obviously works. And then I was thinking i really like your hair today, it's so smooth and shiny, and very flattering on you - aaand then you commented about how much it's bugging you 😂

Great video ! I have very sensitive skin with a bit of rosacea so I also keep my skin care routine very simple. I worked for a dermatologist for many years and she also said less is definitely best for everyone’s skin. I love La Roche Posay products too and use their cleansers daily. Plus I love the Cetaphil and Cereve products, including just the plain daily lotion and cream from Cetaphil. These products work for me and they don’t bother my sensitive skin. I also use sunscreen daily and I make sure it is fragrance free. I figured out a few years ago the fragrance in lotions and creams break me out in rashes. Since I have simplified my routine and made sure everything is fragrance free, I have no problems anymore. I get my anti aging product from La Roche Pose, I use their Adapalene gel. Fragrance free and it works great ! My former boss loves Adapalene for her anti-aging product too. I need to get a little clear box like yours to keep it all together on my counter top. Where is yours from ?

You are looking fabulous! Love your hair!
This is great. I was using Curology but I have to switch up my routine depending on the season etc., so it was just too pricey and too harsh on my skin sometimes. With a tiny bit of effort, it's just better for me to buy individual products I can swap out depending on my skin needs.

It's amazing how much our skin can change as we age. That's why I stopped using Agency (Curology). My skin became intolerant of Tretinoin. If it hadn't, I'd still be using it and loving it.

The elf is just cellulose rolling around. It does help exfoliate though 😊
Have you ever tried Metrodonizdale, not sure I spelled that right.Lol😂 Its a prescription gel, its the only thing that works on my rosacea. Also I used Aveeno Ultra Calming Lotion, they quit making it, that really upsets me when they get rid of good products. Your skin looks lovely!

I'll be 60 in 3 weeks. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I look at my kids and I can't even believe vz 've all come this far. How did this happen so fast? I was just planning my wedding in 1988. My first baby was born 1994 and then it took me 7 more years but it all still feels like yesterday. My biggest regret having Irish 100% skin not putting sunscreen 100 on every single day of the year. I've had so many procedures done. My sister had melanoma. I've had pre-cancer and just recently had at least 30 things burned off my arms, face chest and shoulders. All I can say to young people is sunscreen, sunscreen, zinc, zinc, zinc don't use spray sunscreen. It doesn't work. Put cream on every inch of your body and stay out of the sun❤
Hi Bobbie thank you for this video! I appreciate all of the information you share❤ maybe I missed it but do you use Tretonin or. Retinol? Your skin looks Amazing
I have very similar skin to you, and on the moisturizer for winter: I love the Drmtlgy peptide night cream. It’s a bit pricey ($45ish) but it’s wonderful. Doesn’t bother my rosacea, feels amazing, and I’ve seen a big difference using it. I tried to go back to the aveeno oat gel moisturizer and it’s ok, but I can’t get the same skin with that as I do with the drmtlgy. One thing I didn’t hear you talk about is retinol. Any reason you don’t use that? Not a judgment, just curious.
