It looks like McCutchen was playing shortstop because Maikel Garcia is the only other player who can play shortstop. But if Garcia and Witt are both tired, no one else can play short. I'd recommend calling down one of your backup outfielders for another infielder who can backup SS (or replace Massey since he only plays 2B and 3B)

when you add someone to the 40-man in the show, it forces them to be on the 26 man roster on opening day or you have to waste one of their player options each year, I’d recommend keeping prospects you’re not planning to have on opening day off the 40-man roster (after 3 options you need to put them through waivers to demote them)

@@maxherzog3287 I think you can pick and choose who goes up and down if you decide to not sim through spring training, but when you sim spring training it’s automated and usually the CPU makes pretty good decisions on who to keep on the 26-man

Waiting for opening day roster update heard this Friday Anyway I was messing around with my Tigers just simulating and rebuilding for fun Pete Alonso went to the Cardinals on mine too

McCutchen was playing SS because it was early spring training, so they use the whole bench, and play everyone, thats also why starters get taken off after 3 innings no matter what

I just got Alonso from the Mets for 3 prospects. They initiated. Great trade.

For the arbitration, you’re barely buying out and FA years, so you’re paying them more than you would typically have to by just renewing them or offering them ARB. Only really extend them if you’re buying out a few FA years too

I just want to say that there is no such thing as a non-realistic trade. Some GMs are just dumb... I mean if Al Davis could trade TE Doug Jolly to the Jets for a 1st round pick.. anything is possible.
