Thank you. Oliver Edwards used to use marabou, but the synthetics are a little stiffer, so they are easier to use.

I always fish barbless just some styles of hooks only come barbed, like the Daiichi 1730 bent shank hook. Barbless makes you a better angler and the hooks come out of the fish and humans easier.

In almost 35 years of guiding, the fishable realistic flies saved the day many times, especially on heavily pressured waters. I respectfully disagree.

@@fishablerealisticfliesdavehise I have as much experience as a Guide as you do.Manufactured Materials for years too. Commercial fly tier also, tied 1600 Dz flies one year would typically tie 750 Dz a year. Invented a process to Dye barring on.protein based materials, sold it all over the world.
