That's a common strat from what I know. Not a very fun one though. The town can then respond with veticide or crus kills to cull their own numbers. All visiting roles that do not visit are instantly considered to be evil. Non-visiting roles are just always sus.

If you have a weak coven and TT, you will often go to the timer, but if you have a strong coven you should try to go for majority instead

@@bloxer9563 so having the coven die early is boring, because it makes the town suicide on vet, which is boring...yea, I wonder why this game mode sucks. The TT mode should just be 15 townies and 0 coven but 2/3/4 of the townies are working against the town, chaos but more fun than this boring kill everyone quickly in the hopes someone good survives...

the freaking deputy that mis-shot being named The Real Traitor is the funniest thing in that game lmao, also that mayor wasting time typing NOT TODAY TT DEPUTY and not casting his vote before he revealed and blaming the others is also hilarious

I think 7 knew it was over and just wanted to shoot jailor for shits and giggles.

TT has always been in TOS2 just not as a normal game mode you’ve always been able to select it in private servers.

@@jayyh_01 Horsemen was a *terrible* list. Without the fear of a Doomsayer or Ritualist, people could just do VFR instead of VFA - Leaving very little claimspace for the Horsemen. Prosecutor easily dominated the list, Taking charge and having all Town protects on them, making it damn near impossible to kill them as Berserker. It was not a fun list, and heavily town sided.

Trickster I believe is banned in TT because the role list creator’s discord members did not want that role to exist anymore. Admirer and Dreamweaver mostly just screw over the TT modifier

They should revert trickster to deflecting attacks but keep the infinite uses imo Edit: you know what I’ve thought it over a bit and there’s a very thin line between an infinite alert veteran/vigi and a better bg, so just bring back transporter 😭

Tt was always a mode that existed. It was originally just a mode you’d need to make custom rooms for.

Both games had a townie deputy and a traitor deputy. Those odds have got to be low

im so happy they added a real queue for tt, not enough people jumped into customs for tubas mod

27:38 As someone who was a regular to the original TT List before it became an official gamemode, I'll give some insight as to why these specific roles are banned. Trickster: Trickster is a low skill role due to infinite tricks, and there's no way to play around it. If the Trickster taunts the book holder, they kill someone and die as Town. easy stuff. As TT, it's also bad because you have to dedicate your barrier potion on them, as opposed to the Book Holder, because if they hit another Town Killing, they'll just taunt them and die, revealing themselves as the traitor, and lowering your numbers. Not fun on either side. Dreamweaver: Dreamweaver sucks. No ifs ands or buts - The role is hot garbage, and It easily confirms townies who visit the dreamwoven player, thus narrowing down the options on who's coven and who's not, And overall being extremely frustrating to deal with. Admirer: Admirer is banned primarily for the reason of it being two fold: As TT, It's bad because you get lifelinked to someone if they accept your proposal. Although you know what role someone is, It doesn't matter too much because it screws you over if you decide to kill them. As town, It's frustrating because they can propose to a town power role, they can decline, and you're confirmed. Otherwise, Town intentionally breaks up the couple during TT Hunt to trim the numbers to have an easier chance at finding TT.

That second match was poetic. Prophetical, even. Jailor had in his will that he'd die. "Real Town Traitor" was truly a townie who betrayed. Then there the fact that he was a deputy, just like the actual TT. It's just perfect.

Different TT mode idea: When Admirer is TT they can propose to a coven to give them protections or bind to a townie to silence them.

I like how in the second game the deputy shot someone and instantly all 3 coven whispered the TT.

I love that nef anyo died in the first night in the first game as a Warframe player that's just funny to me

I was wondering using enchanter and pretend to be comparing people say that the sheriff and another person were enemies. Then tell the sheriff to check them to verify, then enchanting them that night after telling the sheriff to check them. Would that work as a method? Since the sheriff would find them sus? Then the sheriff gets hung and by that point the game should have swung in your favor, plus you don't have sus on you because you can claim that it was enchanter, and you were tricked.

It really seems like Deputy should be a banned-list role for TT. No matter which side you're on, in TT taking the shot helps town. If you're town, you either shoot a coven/tt, or you remove two players during the day for TT hunt. If you're coven, being TT deputy means either shooting a coven, or outing yourself as TT. The only way I could see deputy fitting the theme of TT is by either having TT die on killing a townie and not bein revealed as TT, causing further confusion on if TT is still alive, or make it so that shooting as TT deputy doesn't immediately reveal your role unless you shoot a coven member to bus.

it's one of the main features from tos1, really helps with scumreading and keeping track of how many town vs coven members alive.

People like 4 and 5 in the second game is truly the cancer of the game. People like them were in ToS1 too. They are erratic, thinking they are logically scumreading people from absolutely irrational clues. They hard throw nearly a third of their town games, with no one understanding why they throwed other than suspecting cheaters or suspecting an intentional thrower. Its very great for town when the person they are hard pushing mostly randomly turns out to be a real coven. Its definitely insanely weird when they are wrong and start flaming town and being incredibly toxic. Yet no one says anything about it and weirdly follows them, most likely because they are spamming the chat and looking very confident while the person they are pushing are mostly unable to immediately confirm themselves, an unimportant claim or actually evil. They are truly the cancer of this community. And you are unable to tell this too unless you are in multiple games with that same person. You don't understand how crazy it is unless you see a person scumread half of the coven while hard pushing two innocent townies and spam the chat like there is no tomorrow, then absolutely hard throwing and be extremely toxic another game for no apparent reason. When you see what they happens when they are completely wrong for obvious reasons, you understand the core problem of that playstyle.

Nope, so if you shoot a coven as vigi/deputy, you're confirmed not TT Edit: Although TT vigi can shoot a town member and have an enchanter enchant them as coven, "confirming" the vigi
