Salam sis. I wonder why did you not go to Tokkapi Palace museum in Istanbul? There are many Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and his families historical relics showcased there, including some belong to several sahabah. Totally worth the entrance price, without much queue.

Assalamu Aleykum. Welcome to my city. My home is near Hırkaiserif mosque. I can see there from my home. When i was a child, me and my father went there each Ramadan. An old man who guard the HIRKA, opened for us glass of HIRKA and i smell. I never forget that scent. It was incredibely beautiful. I think perfumed this. Later i learned it was Propet's smell. "Actions are according to intentions" said our prophet.(PBUH) we just respect it not worship.

Turkish people have a lot of love for Hazrat Muhammad pbuh and the family of our beloved prophet pbuh. Unfortunately we experienced something similar as you did in the mosque however not in turkey but in Madinah. Not acceptable and you’re absolutely right it ruins not only the atmosphere but importantly the image of Islamic virtues

Sister i know what she did is wrong but i guess she is handling with so many people there and at some point she just slipped by shaitan to have such attitude like that but we muslims need to hide our brothers and sisters sins, wrongdoings and warn them nicely in private. Dont judge your brother and sister in public. Its a good akhlak. May Allah keep you and your loved ones on straight path. May Allah guide that sister as well to realize what she did is wrong.

Peace be upon you, I live in Istanbul, it is a beautiful city, but as a Muslim I do not find myself comfortable there. With the Islamic side, there is a side that is far from Islam in manners, dress, and in sacred rituals like Ramadan. You can notice this while living and residing in it. I wish to live in a more conservative country like this. Saudi Arabia, I wish you an enjoyable visit. May God bless you.

I first wanted to reply on one comment how we know it belonged to the prophet then saw many comments as such, anyway here's my reply for those interested. First let me ask a quick question, would any of you doubt the "jubilee" Thing was queen Elizabeth property or those golden Kanes passed down one king to another, no cuz it is valuable second it has a documented story who first owned it and then a big list on who used to own it. Now let's come over to the real thing, to us that cloak is far more valuable than any piece of gold or whatever to the point that no king starting from one Abbasid era king (Abu al abbas al-saffah or Abu al-abbas the 'reaper' bought for 300 golden dinar a considerable amount by that time standard) would assend the throne till he wear it and assend the Mehrab of a mosque so people see and then acknowledge him as such and from there they passed it down one king to another, but before that one specific family (the family of the great poet kaab ibn zuhair) used to own it and passe it down one generation to another **Updated two times to correct one info i wrote that it was an Umayyad era king but actually an Abbasid king, second to fix typos.

Would you doubt the crown of Elisabeth or that golden "cane" That used to belong to some previous kings of the uk? No cuz you know it has been passed down from one king to another. Since one specific king of the Abbasid era (abu al abbas al saffah) bought it from the family of the poet kaab ibn zuhair, no king will be a king and assend the throne till he gets to a mosque assend the Mehrab wearing that cloak even ruling families of the islamic empire changed it was always preserved and that includes Othman kings that got it and continued with the this custom till the last king Abd ul Hamid, so technically speaking we can trace who owned it from the prophet till the last king of the Othman empire. Hope this helps explaining it a bit.
